That’s how he is when he works, a completely different person than when he’s in private with her.
The brief encounter with Ava Walker at the meeting room door didn’t affect Charlotte Miller’s mood at all; these things were trivial, even if the elders of the Hallow Family were back, she believed they wouldn’t say anything too troubling.
In fact, the real decision-maker in the Hallow Family is Atlas Hallow.

The investment department still suggested issuing financial products to address the huge funding gap.
