"I was planning to sneak in a nap, a bit tired..." Charlotte Miller pouted innocently, her eyes blinking like rippling water, as if blaming him for his relentless demands.
"There’s a resting room in my office; it’s more comfortable there." Atlas Hallow led Charlotte Miller by the hand, his smile broadening as he pulled her into his office and closed the door to hers.
Feeling completely at ease now that he hadn’t gone inside, being half-pulled and half-embraced by him, Charlotte Miller’s legs went weak, and she felt like she was about to collapse.
As Atlas Hallow brought Charlotte Miller into his office, he stretched his long arm and accurately tossed the delicate, small brown paper bag into the trash, then closed the door to the CEO’s office.
Watching Atlas Hallow with his arm around Charlotte Miller as they entered the office, Daniel Parker began to sweat coldly on his forehead.
