With a sword in hand, Chi Kai ran towards the flowery entrance of the Pink Blossom Tree Sect.
But just as she got close, her steps began to slow… and the tension on her face turned into surprise.
The appearance of Mo Han brought a rush of wild joy to her heart. Her first thought was that her sister, Jia Kai, had sent Mo Han for a dual cultivation session with her. The joy was short-lived.
But then, confusion settled in as she thought with reason. "Why had he come alone, carrying my sister's jade ring? My sister would ask me to choose a private location if he agreed to dual cultivate.
With several thoughts racing through her mind, she continued walking toward the gate with a joyful smile.
Meanwhile, more and more women had already gathered, as word about the handsome man spread like wildfire—thanks to the talkative guard.
Lily also arrived with her gang after hearing the news from Sony. They stood at a distance, observing what was about to unfold.
Chi Kai paused for a moment when she saw Lily and her gang. She instantly understood what was happening and decided to play it smug.
"Sister Lily, I can't believe Chi Kai managed to find such a handsome man for her first dual cultivation," the girl with long hair whispered from behind.
"That's not the point! I want to know how this little virgin managed to seduce such a good-looking guy!" another, shorter girl grumbled in frustration.
A third girl opened her mouth to express her jealousy, but the tall leader, Lily, was already fed up with their chatter.
"Could you all just shut up?" Lily snapped, without taking her eyes off Mo Han, who stood at the gate like a painting come to life.
"Sister Lily… what happened? Did we say something wrong?" Sony asked with a confused expression.
"You idiots… Don't you recognize him? We've seen that handsome guy before," Lily said in a sharp tone.
"What are you talking about?"
"God… I remember now!" Sony suddenly gasped. "He's the guy who ruined my plan to seduce that fat guy during the Burning Sun Peak recruitment day!"
"So this is the one you all failed to seduce back then?" asked the long-haired girl, her expression turning curious.
"Shut up! I didn't fail. That guy used some treasure to protect himself. Otherwise, what man could escape from my Butterfly Seduction Technique?" Lily snapped, clearly irritated, as she shifted her focus from Mo Han to Chi Kai.
Meanwhile, Chi Kai had reached Mo Han and approached him with a bright grin.
For a moment, Mo Han thought she was just another sect lady trying to seduce him. But after observing her deliberate behavior and confident stance, he realized she was the "virgin lady" the guards had mentioned.
"Are you the one who came with the jade ring?" Chi Kai asked, staring at him like a little girl eyeing her favorite sweet.
"Yes, I'm the one. I came to tes—"
Before he could finish, Chi Kai grabbed his hand and began dragging him inside the sect grounds.
"Wait… I didn't come here to—" Mo Han tried to explain.
"I know why you came," Chi Kai whispered into his ear while clinging to him like a loving partner. "Just follow me and act like you're mine."
After seeing the shocked faces of the girls around him, Mo Han quickly understood—Chi Kai was deliberately acting close to him in order to crush the hopes of the other women. So, without resistance, he played along, leaning slightly against her as she pulled him along.
Many stunned faces followed the departing figure of Mo Han. They couldn't digest the fact that he had actually come for Chi Kai—the famed but mocked "virgin lady" of the dual cultivation sect.
"Lily, what should we do now? It really looks like he came for Chi Kai. She's going to start mocking us tomorrow!" Sony said, trembling.
"Sister Lily, why don't you go after him and use your Butterfly Seduction Technique? It would be so satisfying to steal him from her," the long-haired girl proposed with excitement.
"Yes! Do it, Lily! You're the only one who can."
The group continued to push Lily.

"Tell me—who are you, and who sent you?" Chi Kai asked in a low voice.
"Before I answer that, can you tell me your connection to the jade ring I brought?" Mo Han countered, staring straight into her eyes.
"That's not important. You're the one who came here with a purpose. So tell me—who sent you?" Chi Kai replied, deliberately avoiding his question.
Mo Han gave a short laugh.
"Little virgin girl, I've seen twice as much of the world as you. From your facial features, I can easily tell you're related to Jia Kai. If I'm right, you both come from the same family. I don't have time to play along with whatever your siblings are scheming."
He sat down casually on the Death Stone and said...
"What you need to know is that my name is Mo Han. I came here to test my body constitution. I think you might be able to help me with that."
Mo Han wasn't interested in the secrets of Jia Kai. He knew that once she returned, Jia Kai would explain everything herself. That's why he chose to be direct with Chi Kai and clearly stated his real purpose.
