Bo Xichen was driving on the way back.
Gu Anxi sat in the passenger seat, assuring him like a kitten, "Bo Xichen, I’m fine."
He chuckled and held her hand.
Suddenly, he spoke up, "Come home with me."
Gu Anxi gasped, then turned her head towards him, sensing a different implication in those three words.
Bo Xichen handed her his phone. "Call your mom and let her know, or should I?"
Her heart began to race. She didn’t understand why he would... suddenly... do this!
Seeing her dazed, Bo Xichen simply took the phone back and dialed a number.
He steered with one hand while holding the phone with the other, speaking softly, "Hmm... It’s me, Xichen. Something came up tonight, so I brought Anxi back with me."
On the other end, Wang Keru sounded worried, but the thought of Anxi being with Bo Xichen eased her concerns. She only softly asked him to take good care of Gu Anxi.
Bo Xichen said a few more words. Just as the traffic light turned red, he turned to look at Gu Anxi.
The dim light in the car made his chiseled profile stand out. Combined with his exceptional looks, the mere sight of him sitting and driving was captivating...
He spoke softly, "I’ve talked to your mom. Do you want to say a few words to her?"
A flicker of confusion crossed Gu Anxi’s small face.

Later, she couldn’t tell if it was her imagination, but the car seemed to pick up speed.
They drove all the way to Si Garden. Looking at the familiar architecture outside, she finally murmured, "Why are we here?"
Bo Xichen slowly unbuckled his seatbelt, leaned over, bringing his lips close to her ear. "What am I to do, Gu Anxi? I don’t intend to let you go!"
At this point, Gu Anxi was fully awake, her eyes wide.
It took a few seconds for his words to sink in... he wasn’t going to let her go!
Then, he leaned towards her. She felt the warmth from his body, her small face resting against his shoulder as she heard him whisper, "Gu Anxi, I’ve been searching for you for a long time. From now on, no matter what happens, I’ll always be by your side."
With difficulty, she raised her small face. "Why... come to Si Garden?"
Bo Xichen looked down. "This must happen in the Orchid Room."
Afterward, he got out of the car, walked around to open her door, and then led her towards Si Garden.
The night was deep, and Si Garden was quiet. Only occasionally did a night watchman spot them. "Young Master Bo, Miss Anxi."
The usually gentle and courteous Bo Xichen didn’t respond. He quickly led Gu Anxi back to the Orchid Room, into his master bedroom, and turned off Fengxi.
He pressed Gu Anxi against the wall, their fingers tightly interlocked. She wanted to struggle, to speak, but he quickly subdued her. It was then she finally understood the clear distinction in strength between men and women...
「Early in the morning.」
Bo Xichen opened his eyes to see the slender little figure nestled in his arms. He smiled gently, carefully slipped out of bed, and went to the bathroom.
When he reached the dining room, his parents were already waiting, their gazes fixed on their son.
Bo Xichen pulled out a chair and sat down, smiling. "From now on, there will be one more person in our home."
His parents exchanged a glance. After about ten seconds, his mother coughed lightly. "Is there a chance there might be two more?"
"Not for now." Bo Xichen smiled faintly. "Anxi is still in school."
