“Captain Lu, was that your wife?” A comrade sitting next to him asked curiously after Lu Xingzhi ended his phone call. “I can see she cares a lot about you.”
There was obviously envy in his tone. After all, many soldiers in the platoon were still bachelors.

As for his leg, he was not too worried about it.
