Carlotta's Daily Report Chapter 39

Amelia nodded earnestly.

She suddenly stepped back, and in the next moment, a long spear appeared in the air, its edges surrounded by a blue light, exuding a sense of battlefield solemnity.

The spear, as if held by someone, pointed straight ahead, displaying a formidable offensive stance, each thrust like a blooming pear flower, enveloping Carlotta.

This was an unfamiliar knight movement, recreated by Amelia through her memory.

Carlotta perked up immediately and rushed forward, gripping her Rose Cross to engage in a rapid exchange with the spear. For the first time, she felt immense pressure.

As long as it wasn't an Elven Knight Path movement, she didn't have the overwhelming advantage of spotting flaws. Each attack had to be handled with extreme caution.

The two went back and forth, clashing rapidly. The memory magic Amelia used had reached the level of a sixth-tier apprentice, yet she still couldn't defeat Carlotta.

This surprised Amelia greatly. She noticed that Carlotta was using the Lightness Card, not just relying on Elven Knight Path, but even so, it was still incredible.

Was it because of her profound understanding of Elven Knight Path that she could exhibit such strong combat power as a third-tier apprentice?

After observing for a while, Amelia joined the fight.

Simply using memory magic wasn't Amelia's full strength. She could also employ the Elven Knight Path in combat.

Although Elven Knight Path was at a significant disadvantage against Carlotta, combined with the sixth-tier apprentice level memory magic, the situation became entirely different.

With Amelia's involvement, Carlotta was quickly suppressed.

Carlotta realized that while she could likely defeat fourth and fifth-tier apprentices, facing a sixth-tier apprentice would be much harder, unless that sixth-tier apprentice only knew Elven Knight Path and nothing else.

Their battle didn't last long. Carlotta's Rose Cross was soon knocked out of her hand.

Amelia, with her decent combat experience, seized the opportunity and quickly pounced, pushing Carlotta to the ground and pinning her.

If this were a real battle, she wouldn't have pounced herself but would have used memory magic to deliver a fatal blow. However, in a sparring match, she naturally held back.

"Mis White, it's truly astonishing. As a third-tier apprentice, you've already achieved such formidable combat power," Amelia couldn't help but exclaim.

After her exclamation, she couldn't help feeling a bit regretful.

Why did she have to specialize in card magic? What a pity.

Carlotta, lying on the ground, sincerely said, "Thank you."

Amelia was willing to train with her, allowing her to confirm her own strength, and she was genuinely grateful. Which other noble lady would be willing to spar with her?

Just as Carlotta was about to say more, the door to the training ground was pushed open.

Carlotta and Amelia instinctively looked toward the door.

Camella walked in at that moment. "Sister Amelia, I... uh..."

Before entering, Camella would never have imagined such a shocking scene on the other side of the door.

She had heard Amelia was here, and as a fan, naturally wanted to chat for a bit. But the scene before her eyes dealt a huge blow to her heart.

"You two... have you already reached this stage?" Camella, after a moment of shock, quickly bowed. "Sorry, I came at a bad time."

Before Carlotta and Amelia could say anything, Camella hurriedly retreated and closed the door.

The scene left both Carlotta and Amelia somewhere between laughter and tears.

Amelia quickly got up from Carlotta and said, "Sorry, Miss White, for causing you to be misunderstood. I'll go explain it to Camella later."

Carlotta stood up, patted her skirt, and said, "Being misunderstood with a beautiful lady, upon reflection, is quite a delightful thing. Maybe you shouldn't explain."

"Since when did you learn to tease others?" Amelia said helplessly.

"Couldn't what I said be true?" Carlotta spread her hands.

Amelia laughed. "I didn't know you could be so mischievous."

She didn't dwell on the issue and continued to discuss training matters with Carlotta.

Even though Carlotta specialized in card magic, having taken a detour, Amelia still had an intuition that Carlotta would become a highly successful transcendent.

After chatting for a while, they left the training ground.

They had classes in the afternoon, so they first went to the cafeteria for lunch and then returned to their dorms to rest.

When Carlotta returned to her dorm, she was surprised to find a girl waiting at her door.

She recognized the girl, who had appeared at the Elf Knight Gathering and had sent her an invitation that morning. It was the noble lady, Doris O'Connor!

Carlotta hadn't expected Doris to come in person after she had sent a rejection letter.

Doris was a very beautiful girl, with smooth blue hair and amber-like eyes. Though she wore the academy uniform, an air of nobility naturally emanated from her, making her status evident at a glance.

Carlotta walked over. "Miss O'Connor..."

Hearing the voice, Doris looked up.

She smiled gently. "Misd White, I didn't expect you to return so late. I've been waiting at your door for a long time."

"Sorry, I was at the training ground practicing. I didn't expect you to come."

"No problem. Can we talk for a bit?"

Carlotta stepped forward and opened the dorm door, inviting Doris inside.

As expected, Doris had come to discuss the invitation and wanted to know why Carlotta had declined.

Carlotta couldn't explain everything, as some matters involved confidential information, so she had to find another excuse.

At the same time, she said seriously, "If you have any questions about Elven Knight Path, Miss O'Connor, you can ask me directly. I won't keep anything hidden."

Doris looked at Carlotta with bright eyes, as if trying to understand what kind of person she was. After a while, she nodded and began asking about the difficulties she encountered in her training.

When it came to Elven Knight Path, no problem was too difficult for Carlotta. Her intelligence provided all the information related to Elven Knight Path, and any question could be answered through it.

"Your problem isn't hard to solve. Just do this..."

Carlotta began to explain slowly.
