Facing Zhang Haiyang’s innocent and earnest, even pleading gaze, even Yan Fei felt defeated, let alone Xu Xiaoyan!
So, unsurprisingly, what was originally a duo headed for the Agricultural University library turned into a three-person party.
Zhang Haiyang was a student who kept his word and never lied.

Just like how Xu Xiaoyan was in the middle of describing to Yan Fei a beautiful blue butterfly she had seen in the self-study room that afternoon. After finishing, she turned around to the silent Zhang Haiyang behind them: "Yangyang, tell Xiao Fei the idiot how beautiful that butterfly was!"
Then Zhang Haiyang thought for a while, gestured with both hands to indicate the size and then gave a thumbs up.
Xu Xiaoyan was almost frustrated: "Yangyang, if you don’t talk, I won’t let you anymore!"

Yan Fei reached into his bag and pulled out a large tomato, offering it to the lady: "Of course I saw it, how could I miss such a beautiful butterfly? I was thinking, since you couldn’t wear the pearl bracelet I gave you, I could catch you a butterfly to play with!"
After Zhang Haiyang’s words earlier, Xu Xiaoyan had removed the black pearl bracelet and asked Yan Fei to keep it for her, so she can take it home later to play with. Planting melons and vegetables was using, chopping wood was using, using bone meal to make a secret formula feed was using, building wooden houses, forging, raising dogs, eating and drinking, and playing inside were all using. Apart from the nearly absurd sale of some dragon bones at first, he really didn’t plan to directly use the things inside to make money.
Working, eating, sweating for money, this was his attitude towards life.
In fact, as the owner of the entire Dinosaur World, making money was truly easy if he really wanted to. But he felt that if he relied on the things in his backyard to make money, what was the difference between him and the idle loafers he hated the most?
Xu Xiaoyan accepted the tomato from Yan Fei and split it in half with her hands, giving one half to Zhang Haiyang. While eating, she playfully remarked to Yan Fei, "You’re speaking as though you can catch a butterfly if you want to. All you ever do is brag!"

Xu Xiaoyan was momentarily stunned, then she laughed uncontrollably, clutching her stomach dramatically. Even the normally quiet Zhang Haiyang couldn’t help but laugh.

Although it wasn’t that funny, the problem was, the ambiance was a bit awkward!
Seeing the girl laughing uncontrollably, Yan Fei quickly changed the subject: "What if we rented a place here to cook? It doesn’t matter if we have to pay some rent, I could prepare more stuff for you every time I come. You could also cook for yourself sometimes. And, have you finished the dried meat? I brought you some more, but I forgot to give it to you just now to bring back to your dorm."
"I haven’t finished it yet! You keep it for yourself, I’ve told you before, the rent here is very costly, it’s not worth it, you’re not allowed to rent." The girl stopped him once again.
Yan Fei fell silent, grumbling inside, if she didn’t want to rent, fine. Once he got rich, he would just buy a piece of land and build a big courtyard, and see what she had to say about that!
With the two of them chatting and laughing, Zhang Haiyang, who was following behind, remained quiet. Apart from occasionally laughing at the entertaining conversation between the two, he was silent, just following them without saying anything.
Once they arrived at the Agricultural University library, Yan Fei greeted the librarian who he had become acquainted with before starting to search for books on greenhouse vegetables.
Nothing more needed to be said. They simply copied, even taking care to draw the key points of greenhouse construction where necessary.
At this point, Xu Xiaoyan couldn’t be of much help. Yan Fei was able to memorize once he copied it down, there was no need to trouble her!
They continued this until the girl’s dorm was about to close for the night.
Throughout the process, Xu Xiaoyan found other books to read and only occasionally spoke to him. As for Zhang Haiyang, he remained silent and spent the whole time daydreaming while marking down the books Yan Fei had read or copied.
It was as if he believed such actions would make him a fortune one day!
