Yan Fei didn’t bother pretending to be humble in front of the girl; he boasted with bravado, "Well, it’s about time you noticed! I’ve been awesome for quite a while now!"
The girl playfully rolled her eyes at him, "Yes, of course. You’ve been amazing for three or four days now!"
Her glance made Yan Fei feel as if he had lost a few pounds. If he hadn’t been in the car, he might have pounced on her like a wolf.
When they arrived home, Yan Fei started cooking and said, "After we eat, I’m going to head back and slaughter a cow for that foreigner, let him see our beef. If it’s really high-quality, we’ll be in the money from now on. Didn’t we see Little Dark-skinned Girl’s family selling peanuts today? While other butchers would be more nervous than the cattle, the two of them were laughing and joking, and the cow, completely oblivious to the fact these men planned to take its life, stood there, letting Yan Fei touch it freely.
"It should be here!" Yan Fei muttered, and signaled Gao Rui, "Watch closely...".
He struck swiftly, inserting the little iron rod into the so-called central nervous system.
In the blink of an eye, the cow thudded to the ground as if knocked out.

After sizing up the cuts for a while, he started carving the beef. After getting the first piece, he laughed, "Ha Ha! This marbling! This is definitely premium beef..."
Next, he got the second piece and continued to laugh. During the third piece, there was more laughter...
Gao Rui watched him amuse himself to the point where, had he not been around him for so long, he would have suspected him to be insane.
If outsiders saw this scene, it would truly be terrifying: an empty courtyard, dim light, two men holding bloody sharp knives standing next to a skinned dead cow; beside them, a bowl of steaming, crimson cow’s blood, and a pile of white cow organs...
Moreover, there was a gentlemen gesturing at the cow, holding a piece of red and white beef and then laughing uproariously, a truly horrifying scene!
After choosing several large pieces of beef, Yan Fei was finally satisfied. He told Gao Rui, "Tomorrow, you get Blackie to inform the restaurants in town that they can come buy it, if they want beef.
