Yan Fei quickly held them back, "Don’t leave, don’t leave, take some beef before you go. We can’t seem to sell out all the beef from the farm and it’s about to go bad. Can you two help out a bit by eating some..."
"Is that really okay?" Yang Qian seems uncharacteristically hesitant.
"It’s really about to spoil, haven’t you heard? I’ve been sending it out everywhere. Even the armed police at the local station have some. You two just happen to be here, how can you not help out by eating some?" Yan Fei said with a laugh.
"Really?" Jiao Bing seems a bit doubtful.
"Take it home and ask your family and you’ll know!" Yan Fei looked at him disdainfully. "Have you two become stupid while at school? You don’t even care about my troubles anymore, you’re really disappointing. I’ve given out so much beef and yet you guys haven’t even heard about it...."
But it was true that he’d been giving out beef, although definitely not to the exaggerated extent that Yan Fei claimed. Even though he couldn’t sell all the beef in town, he still had to buy cattle from the county. So, whenever he went to buy cattle, he took some cooked beef with him. In his free time, he also sold a decent amount in other counties.
The nearby counties he frequented all knew that this big truck belonged to a cattle farm. People had no worries about the quality of the beef, and the price was affordable. It was a bit of a hassle, but it didn’t lose them any money.
Of course, this arrangement couldn’t last forever. It was too hectic. Yan Fei was actually considering starting a business selling dried beef!
After Yan Fei’s onslaught of words, the two fools, slightly bewildered, ended up taking a large chunk of cooked beef each and left on their bicycles.

"Exactly, exactly, he should be encouraged," Yang Qian wholeheartedly agreed with this statement and added sarcastically. "It seems that in the past our concern for Boss Yan was actually quite insufficient..."
After that, the two of them burst out laughing sarcastically...
"Brother Fei, it’s time to eat. What are you still doing standing there?" a young man nearby shouted, jolting Yan Fei from a trance where he didn’t know whether he should cry or laugh.
"You go ahead, I’ll be there shortly." Yan Fei responded, glancing once towards the gate.
He knew that the two scoundrels were almost at the bus station by now because they were on bikes. They shouted out their conversation as they rode, making it sound to Yan Fei like the two of them were still just outside the gate.
This must be the most ridiculous encouragement he had ever received to continue striving to be a boss. All so that these two scoundrels could ride on his coattails to have fun during the summer holidays...
