"Soon, very soon, in another two days, this town will become what I’ve been wanting to see," said the man cloaked in black, his face obscured, sitting at the other end of the long dining table, resting his chin in his hands.
"You keep talking about the state you want to see, but what is it exactly?" Jiao Xinlei asked, frowning.
After observing for a few days, she noticed that the man across from her didn’t seem particularly agitated, and the Monsters in this town were surprisingly docile, completely unlike any she had encountered before.
The Monsters here appeared to be trying to establish some sort of order, rather than simply slaughtering humans.
Such large-scale cohabitation of Monsters and humans, without any sign of violent incidents, was almost inconceivable to Jiao Xinlei.

The man’s eyes lit up, as bright as Heng An’s, and he said with a cheerful tone, "I want to create a world where Monsters and humans can live together in harmony!"
"That’s impossible!" Jiao Xinlei immediately rejected the idea.
"May I ask how old of a child you are... No, you’re even more childish than those still in diapers." Jiao Xinlei turned her head away to indicate she had had enough to eat.
The man’s ideas were pure fantasy, as humans and Monsters were inherently incompatible.
Living together in harmony?

But looking into the man’s eyes, Jiao Xinlei could tell he was serious, so serious that he treated it as an ideal.
