Because of a blanket, Zhou Yun had no scenes to shoot but still spent the whole day on the film set, observing others’ performances.
In the afternoon, Su Yan came to shoot and upon seeing Zhou Yun, she frowned and asked the assistant, "Is Zhou Yun also going to have scenes later?"
The assistant shook his head and said, "I haven’t heard anything about it."
After a while, the assistant inquired and came back, telling Su Yan, "Zhou Yun was supposed to have scenes this morning, but because Director Kang was not satisfied with the blanket and had the Prop Team redo it, Zhou Yun’s scenes were canceled at the last minute. The assistant didn’t respond.

The assistant kept silent.
After a while, the scene being shot finally ended.
Kang Xin called Su Yan over and explained how she should perform in the next scene.

Su Yan asked, "Director, isn’t Yang Zhen’s grievance here supposed to be feigned?"
Kang Xin replied, "Although it’s feigned, it needs to appear genuine. She isn’t putting on the act for He Zhen; she’s doing it for He Mu to see. If the grievance looks too fake, how would He Mu ever believe it?"
Su Yan let out a sound of acknowledgment.

This time, the grieving expression on Su Yan’s face was more genuine.
