The days that followed Mo Roulan’s ’Yes’ to their official dating were the sweetest He Jian had in his whole life.
He just couldn’t bear to leave her alone.
And the best thing was that she didn’t push him away.
She let him kiss her. She let him hug her,
She would have a smile on her lips when she was with him.

Pulling Mo Roulan in his arms, he asked her gently
"What is wrong?"
"The new semester is starting two weeks later."
The answer made He Jian sigh as well.
Because it meant he would not be able to see Mo Roulan whenever he wanted.
"I will miss you, baby."
He liked how Lanlan’s cheeks turned red whenever he called her baby.
This was something he had seen in a movie. At that time, he had found it very weird. But now, he liked to call Mo Roulan this way.

"Did you get your results?"
"No, we will get it on the first day of the new semester."
He Jian nodded his head with a smile and said
"I am sure you will perform well. What reward do you want?"
"Reward?"
Mo Roulan blinked in confusion. She had never received a reward before for performing well in the exams
He Jian smiled seeing her confusion. He kissed her forehead and said
"Yes, Reward. Let me reward you and encourage you to perform well in next semester."
Mo Roulan chuckled at the words but said
"I don’t need anything."
He Jian didn’t ask her anymore. He knew that she wouldn’t ask for anything.
He just needed to think of something on his own.

The phone rang and Shen Yiling immediately slid the screen to answer the call as soon as she saw who was calling her.
"Brother Fengju, did you find out anything?"
On the day, she had seen Mo Roulan’s mother in the hospital, Shen Yiling had called Shi Fengju and asked him for help.
The doctor in the hospital refused to tell her anything about Mo Roulan’s mother so she could only seek Shi Fengju’s help knowing well that no one else would be ready to help her.
Shi Fengju also refused initially.
