The next few weeks made Mo Roulan feel as if the time was flying.
Hers and He Jian relationship got so much better. It seemed as if she knew him better than anyone could. It felt as if she was the closest person to him.
They always tried to find time to be with each other.
They liked to stay close to each other.
She didn’t even get to know when slowly and slowly three months passed.
"Let’s plan our honeymoon."
He Jian said suddenly one day and Mo Roulan smiled in excitement. She also wanted to go and visit some places.
She never got any such opportunity before.
Seeing her excitement, He Jian chuckled and squeezed her in his arms gently. He pecked her lips thrice and asked after that
"Where do you want to go?"
Mo Roulan blushed and soon went into her own thoughts.
Where did she want to go?
"Paris?"
She said and He Jian nodded his head immediately.
"It will be done. I will handle the work this week and we will leave next week. Will you be able to take out time from your job?"
Mo Roulan liked how He Jian was considerate of her job as well.
If they could continue living like this, she could actually forget the bitter past.
"I can. I don’t have any pending projects."
Hence they decided to go to Paris next week.
However, it was just a day before they were supposed to leave when Mo Roulan started to feel very weird.
She ignored it but during breakfast at the dining table when she had the first bite of the meal, she felt very nauseous.
She covered her mouth and ran to the bathroom immediately.
The entire family looked at her back with worry-filled eyes.
He Jian immediately left his chair and followed her.
When he reached the bathroom, he only saw Mo Roulan bending over and puking.
He immediately held her hair for her. Seeing the frown on her forehead, he felt distressed thinking that he didn’t even know what he could do to help her.
"Lanlan, are you alright? Let me call a doctor."M
Mo Roulan wanted to say that she was alright.

When the doctor came out, He Jian immediately walked to him and asked
"Doctor, what happened to her? Why did she suddenly lose consciousness?"
The young doctor smiled calmly when he heard the question and looked at Grandfather He instead of He Jian as he said
"Grandpa, you must be happy. After all, your wish is going to come true soon. The family is soon going to have a child."
Grandfather He’s eyes widened for a second before he laughed out loudly.
"Child...I am going to have a grandchild soon."
"Old Zhang! Distribute the sweets in the entire neighborhood as well as in all our companies."
Butler Zhang was also happy and immediately did as he was asked to do.
He Zhuang also had a rare smile on his lips, however, when he looked at his wife who looked somber, he was confused.

He Mingzhu looked at her husband and then at her son who looked blank and was still trying to digest what he heard.
Instead of replying to her husband, she walked to her son and said in a stern voice.
"Jian, I asked you to be careful, right? Roulan is still so young."
He Mingzhu had a deep frown on her forehead when she said these words.
She had come to know that Lin Qianru had concerns regarding the age gap between her son and Mo Roulan.
She had even met Lin Qianru personally and heard her concerns. She had promised that she wouldn’t let it become an issue ever.
Even without meeting her, He Mingzhu could understand such concerns.
Mo Roulan was young and had yet to achieve so much in her career.
"How will our Roulan manage it? She has a job and she is still in a learning period. How will she manage everything with a child?"
He Jian lowered his head and heard everything silently.
When He Mingzhu finished, he finally raised his head and said honestly
"Mom, it will Lanlan’s decision. I would not force her to keep the child. If she wants, we will abort it."
Grandfather He who heard these words jumped suddenly and said immediately
"What rubbish you are spouting? My great-grandson is not even born yet and you are talking about killing him. If you and Roulan can’t take care of him then I will do that but don’t think of doing any such thing."
He Jian completely ignored his grandfather and went inside the room.
Grandfather He who was ignored was furious but could only vent it out on his son.
"It is your fault. You didn’t teach him anything."
But before he could continue speaking, He Mingzhu also spoke up and said firmly
"Dad, it should be Mo Roulan and Jian’s decision collectively. Since Jian has already said that he wants to leave it to Roulan then we should respect it. Roulan is still so young. There is much time life to have kids."
Grandfather He was still upset but he didn’t want to argue with his daughter-in-law so he could only sigh and leave from there.
On the other hand inside the room, Mo Roulan was finally awake.
He Jian was seated on the edge of the bed holding her hand.
His eyes were filled with worry and distress. It was his fault. His mother was right. He should have been careful.
"What happened to me?"
Mo Roulan asked in confusion when she saw him so silent.
He Jian sighed. He held her hand and told her
"You are pregnant."
