"You-" Su Donghai fell speechless for a moment after being accused of dragging Madame Bao in the matter. He indeed was pushing his luck a bit too far. However, he was good at giving the righteous color to his statement. "I am just trying to give you a chance to save your relationship with Madame Bao. By putting her name in my arguments, I was trying to guide you in the right direction as I thought you would hold her into account because of your good relationship with her. As much as you disrespect me, you are still a part of this family and represent it towards the world. Your bad behavior would only reflect upon the Su family."
"If you cared so much for the Su family reputation why would you mention this thing to Madame Bao in the first place?" Jing Lihua quietly shook her head. This man, he was good at words. Madame Bao knew Jing Lihua had lost her mother at a young age. And it was a sensitive topic for Jing Lihua.
In that case, Madame Bao decided to end this now.
"We will know what exactly happened after we check Xiao Jing's recording."
Hearing this Su Donghai was shocked.
Satisfied with the result, Madame Bao smiled in his direction and explained slowly. Let's just overlook this matter on that account." He further said with a flattering smile, desperate to change the conversation direction. "Besides, Madame Bao still hasn't told me the reason behind your sudden visit?"
However, Madame Bao wasn't dragging it all along only to overlook it in the end. Only for this moment, she had let that Elder Su conduct all those meaningless attempts to degrade Jing Lihua in front of her.

Su Donghai stood frozen. All the servants in the manor were literally shaking, let it be fear or helplessness. Because after today's incident something would change.
