Hidden within the trees and bushes, two men on each side of the road were crouched, scanning the area less than a hundred meters in front of the entrance to their base. They all wore camouflage clothing, geared up from head to toe with their faces covered as well.
One of them, acting like a leader, carried a tablet and watched its display at all times. It showed the map of the whole island and it was filled with hundreds of red and blue dots. The latter was lower in quantity by a massive margin.
Beep, beep.
A quiet alarm set off from the tablet as the man was zooming in on the map and a notification popped up on the screen.
'New challengers approaching.'
The man got excited seeing the pop-up and quickly activated his communicator by touching his ear. "Someone is coming, get ready," the man spoke in a whisper.
"Roger that, waiting for instructions."
He heard the response in his ear and nodded to his partner on the left. The both of them looked at the tablet and zoomed in the map towards their position. Two red dots were closing in on them.
"Two easy targets. Walking on the main road. Wait for them to get close and we will jump out," the leader commanded and looked in the direction the prey would come.
They didn't need to wait for long until they saw two beauties cautiously walk towards them. The blonde hugged onto the brown-haired women with a scared look on her face. She was shivering and limping on one leg while using the other as support to walk. The only weapon they had was in the hand of brown-hair beauty which also seemed hurt, having some blood oozing from her shoulder.
"Gosh, they are so hot… Too bad they are injured… They won't be able to fight us at all," one of the men commented and suggested, "How about we play with them a bit and let them pass? I am sure the one with a knife is skilled to be able to walk this far on their own."
"I agree… Mike, just look at their bodies… We have been here for a week already… Can't we have some fun at least?" His partner added, trying to convince their leader but it only pissed him off instead.
"How about you have some fun with my knife?" Mike grunted and ordered, "As punishment for your dirty thoughts, you two will stay on the lookout instead. Rules are rules. If they can't survive five seconds against any of us, they can't join the selection."
"Mike, that's plain cheating. You just want to play with the beauties yourself. Humpf," the man complained in disagreement but Mike only silenced him.
"Shush, they are coming."

The girls walked slowly through the jungle road when they finally saw the gates to the base in the distance. Both of their eyes widened in relief.
"We arrived! We are finally safe!" Scarlet called out happily, her grimace of pain disappearing from her face.
"Shhh, don't shout…" Dongmei quickly shushed her and whispered, loud enough for the men to hear her, "There can still be dangers hidden nearby. This is exactly the place where there could be the most traps. We need to be carefull."
Scarlet acted scared and hugged to Dongmei even tighter. "Okay…" she muttered while looking around worriedly.
Both of them almost jumped when they heard a sudden male voice coming from the bushes, "You are right. Dangers lurk everywhere."
A man in dark green camouflage clothes jumped out of the bushes right in front of them, caring a similar knife to Dongmei's.
"You should listen to your friend. She seems to know what's up," the man commented, looking at them with a hungry gaze. His sharp brown eyes caused chills to run on Scarlet's back. She didn't need to pretend anymore to act scared.
"Stay away!" Dongmei shouted back as she aimed her knife at him and took Scarlet by the hand, wanting to run away in the opposite direction yet she immediately stopped, seeing another person jumping out of the bushes.
"Well, well, well. Who do we have here. I wonder how such cuties like you survived in the jungle all by yourself," the second man spoke sarcastically, licking his knife afterwards. "Did you maybe jump from the plane and landed nearby?"
It was the only reason they could come up with.
"If you come any closer, I will kill you!" Dongmei shouted, looking back and forth between the men and warned, "I already killed five, I can kill two more."
"Haha, you do seem skilled with the way you hold your knife but how are you going to handle two of us? Won't your blonde partner get in your way?" the man laughed as he ogled Scarlet's body though the holes of his mask.
"Scumbags!" Dongmei called out, glaring at them hatefully. "If I have to die, I will still take one of you down!"
"Okay, how about this. We will give you a chance to survive. Each of you will fight use one on one. If I can't kill you in less than five seconds, you win and can pass," One of the men proposed kind-heartedly. "What do you think?"
"B-but I can't fight…" Scarlet finally spoke while stuttering and asked cutely, "Can you let us go Sir? I will do anything…"
"You can't!" Dongmei immediately scolded her. "You can't resolve everything with your body!"
"But this is exactly what they want!" Scarlet shouted back and glanced alluringly at the two men, "Sirs… Aren't I pretty? If it's just the two of you, we can maybe—"
Dongmei immediately covered her mouth, ordering sternly, "Stop! What are you doing?! You don't need to do this!"
Scarlet used both her hands and pulled Dongmei's hand away and shouted with complicated expression, "I'm doing it for you! Aren't you getting married soon? What will my brother say if you got hurt? I don't care about myself. If I can use my body to save us, I wouldn't mind even if there were ten of them."
Watching the drama play out between them, the guy behind them couldn't help but laugh out loud as he called out, "Hahaha, Boss, I think she really wants it. How about we accept the trade? We can do her together."
He only received a glare from his Boss as the one asked Scarlet, "What are you doing in the selection if you can't fight?"
Scarlet dropped the act and replied honestly, "Oh, a special someone said that I have a talent in acting so I joined the selection with him and his wife. I'm still yet to learn how to fight."
The leader immediately frowned and asked cautiously, "And where is that special someone?"
Scarlet smiled and looked at Dongmei who also dropped the act. "I think he should be nearby," she replied casually, playing with her knife. "How about you ask your two other friends that are hiding in the bushes?"
Both men froze, not expecting them to know that and the leader instantly reached out to his ear, asking, "Are you two okay?"
His team members weren't far from them so if anything happened, they would hear it. He still asked to check without losing eye from them.
Silence. No one responded.
"Idiots! Report now!" the leader shouted, this time calling out directly while looking in the direction of their hideout only to hear a cold, killer's voice in his ear.
"They are not going to reply. Let the girls go or your buddies will die."
Both men heard Wuxing's voice clearly. They looked at each other in surprise, not expecting such a development.
Dongmei saw their expression change and asked politely as she kept her knife, "Are we free?"
