At her invitation, Wuxing subconsciously checked out her body and after looking into her sultry eyes, he declined. "No, I can go in after you. We are not yet familiar enough with each other to have baths together."
He would be lying if he said that he wasn't tempted, but he knew it wasn't a good idea.
Firstly, he understood that she was merely teasing him and didn't actually mean it. Secondly, looking at her actions so far, her background was too big for him to handle. Starting something with her would indeed be extremely helpful to him, but it would come alongside with a big package of other problems, which he didn't actually need right now.
He wanted to have his revenge first before trying to figure out what to do next.
"Tsk, do you know how many men dream to be in the same situation as you right now?" Dongmei gave him a stinky eye. Even if she was only playing around with him, it still hurt when he outright rejected her. She was a proud woman—she liked it when men showed that they want her.
"I don't think anyone would like to be shot twice at crucial points in the body? They will die before they get to be here with you," Wuxing shrugged after stating the obvious. He knew he probably wouldn't survive today's incident if not for his special ability.
"Okay, you are so great and no one can match you. Now, come with me." Dongmei rolled her eyes and walked up to him, grabbing his hand and pulled him with her.
Before he could reject, she added, "I have a bath and a shower here. We are not going to shower together, don't worry. You will take the shower and I will take the bath. I won't let you sleep on my bed if you don't clean yourself."
Before they entered, she looked back at Wuxing. Seeing him still not sure if he should agree, she asked annoyed, "What, am I that unattractive that you can't even share a bathroom with me? Are you scared that I will do something for you? Do I look that desperate?"
"That's not the problem I am worried about. The issue is that you are too attractive. I am a man. I won't be able to stop myself from peeking at you," Wuxing said honestly, looking into her almond-colored eyes.
"Heh, if you are brave enough, you can peek all you want. Also, it's a doctor's command. I can't let your wounds get an infection so you have to clean around it properly." Afterward, Dongmei giggled, rubbing the outside of his palm with her thumb and entered the bathroom, calling out to him seductively, "Come inside."
"Fine, don't tell me that I didn't warn you later." Wuxing had no choice but to comply with her. If he still rejected her after all her persuasion, he would definitely look as if there was something wrong with his sexuality.
"Good boy. The shower is on the right, behind that wall." Dongmei smiled seeing that she managed to convince him. It was a first for her to ask someone to share the bathroom with her, and she found it quite interesting to have someone resisting her seductions so vehemently.
The bathroom wasn't as large as he had expected, but comparing its size to the rest of the apartment, it wasn't considered small either.
In the left corner was a giant jacuzzi that could easily fit four people inside, more or less. The shower section and the bath were split with a marble wall in between, while the sink was placed right in front of the shower. He noticed right away that with the way the mirrors were set, he would be easily able to peek at the bath and vice-versa.
There was no way she wouldn't know about this, which made him wonder what was her motive.
Dongmei leaned over the edge of the bath and reached out towards the corner to let the water run. Her butt was sticking right in front of Wuxing and even her dress started to roll up, showing almost half of her bottom to him. Just as he promised, he didn't avert his gaze, blaming it on her that she was this careless.
Dongmei, of course, acted as if nothing had happened and pulled out a fresh towel from her cabinet and threw it to him, saying, "Okay, here is your towel. It's clean. You can throw away your clothes as you won't need them anymore. I will ask someone to bring you more comfortable ones later."
Seeing his bandages were still stained red, she asked, "Does it still hurt you? How long do you think it will take you to heal with this ability of yours?"
"It doesn't hurt as much as before anymore, only when I move too much. I think it should heal in a few days max," Wuxing said, planning to heal it soon. He didn't want to have wounds on him the moment he escapes. She would notice the wounds healing sooner or later, so he didn't hide it from her.
"Two gunshot wounds healed in a few days, huh? Let me see." Dongmei looked at him with disbelief and approached him to check herself. She didn't sew close the wounds earlier as they weren't even bleeding. She expected them to still be open wounds, but when Dongmei ripped off the bandages, she saw that both wounds were already almost closed up on their own.
"Amazing, they are already healing. Never seen something like this. Wait for a bit, you can't shower with them like that, or else the water will enter the wounds." Dongmei stared at Wuxing's injuries in amazement, watching it from up close. After a bit of prodding, she left the bathroom.
She came back with a first aid kit and three plastic-looking patches. She applied a disinfectant on a cotton ball and started cleaning the skin around the wounds before she gently stuck the first plastic patch onto his shoulder, making the wound completely waterproof.
Suddenly, she wiped her forehead. "Isn't it getting hot in here? It is so hot in this wool dress."
The hot steam from the bathwater was already slowly warming up the room.
After putting away her first aid kit, she started undressing without even asking Wuxing to turn around. With her back facing him, she began pulling her dress up from the bottom, slowly revealing her body—her perky, round butt covered by white lace panties, followed by her slim waist and her perfectly curved back, before finally going over her shoulders.
Wuxing rolled his eyes at her, still not knowing what she was trying to achieve with such behavior. He knew she would immobilize him if he tried to do something to her right now.
Dropping the dress on the floor, Dongmei turned to him with a saucy smile and continued dressing his wound as if nothing happened. After she was finally done with all patches in place, she nodded satisfied with her handiwork. "This is just a temporary measure for your showering. The wounds need air to breathe so we will change it back into gauze bandages afterward. Okay, you are set."
Looking at her gentle smile, Wuxing couldn't hold back anymore.
"Can you tell me what are you trying to achieve with this? What are you planning? You don't seem like a person who invites random prisoners to your apartment, even more, share a bathroom with one. If you want something from me, I want to know it now."
