Each partner gave him a distinctly different sensation:

A flirtatious look passed through Velzard's eyes.

In his mind, Rei Ao imagined two dragons—one red, one white—intertwined.
He could only conclude...that it seemed rather bizarre.
"Maybe another time," he said dismissively.
Then, standing up from the hot spring, he addressed them all:
"Before I leave, I think it's necessary for some of you to get a strength boost."
He couldn't always rely on Velzard and the others to protect him. Besides, it would be a waste not to leverage his Demon Lord authority.
In this world, the strongest beings are mainly a handful of Demon Lords and Dragons. Next tier down are monsters around or just shy of Calamity Level. Velzard, Rain, Velgrynd, and Misery undoubtedly belonged to the upper echelon, and Rain and Misery had grown even stronger under Rei Ao's "protection" (blessing).

As long as he remained in this world, they would at least hunt down some powerful monsters for experience. Monsters above Disaster Level were all "premium XP."

A crisp but annoyed voice rang out.
In the blink of an eye, a petite girl with pink hair appeared, her face showing clear displeasure—Milim.
"Lady Milim, we called an urgent Demon Lord council because it concerns the birth and death of a 'new Demon Lord.' We beg your understanding," said a slender man with white hair and half-closed eyes—Clayman.
Everyone present was a Demon Lord.
Known as the "Marionette Master," Clayman was tall, with silver-white hair, red eyes, and two gold-lined marks on his forehead. He often wore a devilish smirk—like right now.
Besides him, there was:
Carrion, the Lion King
Dagruel, the Wicked God
Luminous, Queen of Nightmares
And now, Milim, the Destroyer, who'd just arrived.
Together, they accounted for 7 of the so-called "Ten Demon Lords."
The tiny fairy-like Ramiris glanced at the group, saying, "So that means only Guy, Dino, and Leon haven't shown yet."
Frey, with white feathered wings, gave a yawn, her demeanor somewhat lazy.
"Dino and Leon definitely won't come."
Leon Cromwell, the Platinum Saber; Dino, the Sleeping Ruler—they almost never showed up at these gatherings, something she'd come to expect.
"But for Guy to be late—isn't that unlike him?"
"Oh, him? He's probably not coming," Milim said casually as she plopped herself into a seat and started stuffing her face with the provided food.
They all looked at Milim in confusion.
Ramiris flitted her translucent wings, flying up near Milim's face. She was the only one here who dared get so close—mostly because Milim, for all her ridiculous power, acted like a willful child. You never knew if she might suddenly punch someone. Ramiris, though, was something of an exception—a special case among Demon Lords.
Long ago, Guy Crimson—the "Arbiter of the World"—had tried to protect the Central Axis World by confronting the enraged "Dragon Princess" Milim after her pet dragon was killed. They fought for seven days and seven nights without a victor. Ultimately, thanks to Ramiris's intervention, Milim snapped out of her frenzy, and Ramiris exhausted herself moving all that massive destructive energy to another dimension.
