Sui: "What part of that makes sense? Even the idea of resurrection is weird enough!"
Bibi Dong: "Different worlds, different rules. It can happen."
Bibi Dong: "So, as for this newcomer, if she can just find that Fire Dragon and kill it, that should do the trick."
Marcille: "That's correct in theory, but… the labyrinth is a tangled maze, and we have no clue where to look for the Fire Dragon, which is a living creature—or more like a powerful monster."

For an instant, Marcille felt confused, then more detailed knowledge about these "conditions" flooded her thoughts.

Marcille: "You…you really can save Falin? You're not tricking me?"
Rei Ao: "I can promise you, everything I've said is true. Whether you believe it or not is up to you."

Izawa Shizue: "Basically, Marcille-san, it's your call to make."
Marcille hesitated. If sacrificing all that truly could save Falin, she wouldn't hesitate for an instant. After all, in her eyes, Falin died because of her—or so her guilt convinced her. But she still couldn't verify if this was real. What if it was some teleportation trap…?
She bit her lip, steeled herself.

On Rei Ao's end, seeing the trade info brought a slight smile to his lips. He still hadn't gotten out of bed when he met the gaze of Fujimiya Sumika, who was eyeing him curiously with half-lidded eyes.
He asked with a smile.
Sumika blushed, ducking her head. She could still recall the chaos of that "storm" not long ago, her body still worn out.
"N-no, it wasn't that!"
Fearing misunderstanding, Sumika hastily explained:
"It's the chat group. I saw it. Are you really going to another world now?"
Rei Ao nodded. Running a hand through her hair:
"Sorry for leaving right after we did…that. Feels a bit 'scummy' of me."
"I know you have important things to do."
She assumed cross-world trading must be serious. Her thoughtfulness delighted Rei Ao. A thought struck him:
"Sumika, want to come along to another world for a bit? There's a labyrinth I bet you'll find interesting."
"Of course it's fine."
Rei Ao glanced at her curled-up posture:
"You're probably in no shape to be moving around much right now."
Sumika's face went bright red. Her body truly was limp and sore from…all that attention, especially in certain tender places.
He said, sliding a hand toward her.
Her cheeks reddened further.
Marcille kept looking around, left and right.
She slumped in despair.
"So it was all a fantasy…"
She opened the group, fired off a vexed message:
Marcille: "That whole cross-world trade idea is nonsense!"
Sui: "Huh, what's happening?"
Yatogami Tohka: "Rei Ao-kun wouldn't scam you."
Marcille: "But I clearly chose the trade, and no one's shown up!"
Frieren: "No one? @Rei Ao, haven't you gone yet?"
Rei Ao: "I was a bit delayed, bringing someone along and making preparations. But now…we're here."
Marcille didn't have time to react before, in the center of the room, space began to distort. A swirling black rift appeared out of nowhere.
She recoiled, grabbing her wand off the table, aiming it at the vortex. From inside it, a tall figure stepped forth—a slender young man. Marcille's first impression was that for a human, he was even more handsome than an elf. Behind him emerged a bespectacled girl, looking around curiously. Before Marcille could speak, the young man greeted her with a smile:
"Marcille-san, a pleasure to meet you. I'm Rei Ao, the one with whom you made that trade."
