The rhythm continued without ceasing.
Those such as Jujo Mito, with heads lowered, all stood there stiffly on trembling legs.
They had thought about leaving this scene in front of them, or hiding in a bedroom—after all, none of them particularly wanted to watch someone else's deep "interaction."
But all the doors were locked and wouldn't open.
This was something Rei Ao did intentionally.
He did not intend to let them leave.
Whether for the stimulating effect it had on Shinoa's body, or for the emotional impact it had on them, making them watch was, overall, beneficial to him.
"By the way, Shinoa."
Rei Ao suddenly flipped Hiiragi Shinoa around to face him, and spoke while continuing his actions: "How do you see your sister, Hiiragi Mahiru? What sort of person was she to you?"
Shinoa's entire body obviously stiffened for a moment.
In her purple irises, the faint pink glimmer dimmed somewhat. Amid the ongoing motion, her fingers unconsciously clutched tighter at Rei Ao's shoulders.
"Why…are you asking about that all of a sudden?"
Her voice came out intermittently, almost dispersed by the night air.
Using the daisy (her back entrance) was also taking a huge toll on her.
Rei Ao didn't answer immediately. Instead, he quietly watched the girl's trembling eyelashes. The lamplight cast fine, speckled shadows across her face, shadows concealing much unspoken sorrow.
"Just curious," Rei Ao finally said.
"You older sister, is there something particularly special about her? When I mentioned her name, those few—like Jujo Mito, Yukimi Shigure, and even Krul—reacted quite intensely."
He was referring to the abrupt reactions from Jujo Mito, Yukimi Shigure, and Krul earlier.
Originally some of them were either bowing their heads and covering their ears, or had turned away. But at the mention of "Hiiragi Mahiru," they all looked over at once.
"How do you know her?"
The first to speak was Jujo Mito.
"Just from hearing Shinoa mention her. That's her older sister."
Rei Ao, still in the middle of the sofa with Shinoa, stepped forward in Jujo Mito's direction.
Seeing him approach, Sangu Mitsuba panicked like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, backing away. Her face reddened while desperately trying not to stare at Shinoa's humiliating posture.
That kind of thing… so terrifying!
She was full of restless thoughts. Even Jujo Mito, who was more mature, found herself at a loss facing such a scene. She too tried retreating until, with a head of flaming-red hair, she collided with the wall and could go no farther.
Shinoa's two hands pressed on either side of Jujo Mito against the wall to support herself.
In that weird posture, Jujo Mito now felt the powerful aura pounding into her, as well as a scorching pressure from "that place" pinned against her.
Pressing her red lips together, she glared at Shinoa—and, behind Shinoa, at Rei Ao.
"What do you plan to do?"
Rei Ao shrugged. "Just want to learn more about Hiiragi Mahiru from you."
"Why not wait until you're finished so you can talk to me in a normal posture?!"
Jujo Mito stared at the vigorous Shinoa in front of her, feeling her mind about to snap. This was utter humiliation to her!
"Sorry, but I dislike wasting time."
Rei Ao showed no intention of speaking kindly. He proceeded directly: "Tell me what you know about Hiiragi Mahiru."
"Why should I tell you anything?"
Jujo Mito, rarely this stubborn in Rei Ao's presence, continued to glare at him, not wanting to show any sort of sexual vulnerability or unusual posture.
He found her obstinacy quite tantalizing, sparking his intention to "tame" her a bit.
"You can choose not to speak. However, you can act as Shinoa's cushion for the time being—she's pretty worn out."
Seeing him control Shinoa's body but speaking of using her as a "cushion," Jujo Mito's eyes went wide.
To serve as another's… that kind of filthy "mattress"?!
Rei Ao gave a faint chuckle.
With a mere snap of the fingers…
Jujo Mito realized something was off. Her body unexpectedly lost freedom of movement, and she found herself forced into a lying-down posture.
Then she saw Rei Ao position Shinoa, who was back to front with her, laying the exhausted Shinoa on top of her.
Everyone else who was half "eating popcorn," went dumbfounded.
Finding that Rei Ao had no intention of stopping, Jujo Mito cried out desperately.
But he outright ignored her, merely continuing to comfort Shinoa with his fierce embrace.
Realizing refusal was useless, Jujo Mito gave up her previous determination, letting her spirit sink. Because now, as a "mattress," she felt humiliated.
On top of that, Rei Ao's forceful movements in taking Shinoa so vigorously inevitably caused extra jolts of pain to Jujo Mito's body beneath them.
Hence, conceding, she discovered Rei Ao still showed no sign of stopping.
"Why, why aren't you stopping?!"
She was confused, tilting her head back to see.
Rei Ao replied calmly, "Like I said, I'll stop when you finish talking."
Jujo Mito seethed with rage, feeling as though he was purely toying with her.
Even Yukimi Shigure couldn't bear it anymore.
"Hey, that's too much!"
Rei Ao glanced over at her. "You volunteering to take her place?"
Yukimi Shigure shrank back, not wanting to be pinned in that humiliating way—especially in front of her fellow soldiers. That would be beyond embarrassing.
Just like Jujo Mito: she used to be so intimidating in the Imperial Demon Army, but now she looked like a dog being toyed with.
Shivering, Yukimi Shigure made no further move to meet Rei Ao's gaze.
Rei Ao: "Mito-san, if you don't talk, you're wasting your own time right now."
With no intention of stopping, he actually increased the intensity.
Jujo Mito clenched her teeth in humiliation and finally chose to yield.
"All right, fine. Hiiragi Mahiru was a once-in-a-century genius in the Hiiragi family."
She began speaking in a heavy tone about what she knew of Hiiragi Mahiru.
At twelve, she could independently improve aspects of the Cursed Gear. At fourteen, she was involved in the Imperial Demon Army's core research—a true genius.
"But she died in an experimental accident."
Her bangs obscured her eyes.
"An experimental accident?"
Rei Ao raised an eyebrow. "Specifically what experiment?"
A strange hush settled over them, as though the question touched on an unspeakable taboo.
"My sister… was constantly studying the origins of vampires," Shinoa finally spoke, her voice so quiet it was almost inaudible.
"There was an explosion in the lab that day. By the time the rescue team arrived, she was already…"
Her words abruptly cut off, slender shoulders trembling slightly.
