Chapter 15: Chapter 15: Don’t Touch Her
“Honey…” Mengmeng, rejected in public, instantly felt heartbroken and looked at him with pitiful eyes.
Such a wronged expression made Gu Zhihan slightly frown, wondering if he had gone too far?
After pondering for a moment, just as he was about to speak again, he saw the little boy in the neighboring bed had already climbed down and walked over to Mengmeng, saying in a baby voice, “Mengmeng, come sleep with me. I’ll wrap my arms around you, tell you stories, sing nursery rhymes, and make sure you don’t suffer from insomnia.”
Without waiting for Mengmeng’s consent, the little boy grabbed her arm, intending to lead her to his own small bed.
“Don’t you dare touch her!” Upon seeing this, Gu Zhihan instantly flared up, his eyes, black as gems, narrowing as he glared at the hand holding Mengmeng’s arm; if looks could inflict physical harm, the boy’s hand would have been amputated by now.
“I will touch her, what are you going to do about it?” The little boy was no pushover. He puffed out his chest and glowered at Gu Zhihan, “Seriously, you won’t sleep with her, but you also forbid someone else from keeping her company in bed?”
After listening, Gu Zhihan nearly laughed from anger – it was his first encounter with such an audacious “homewrecker”, clamoring to sleep with his wife right in front of her legitimate husband. Did he consider him dead?
So he stepped down from the bed, wearing slippers, and sternly pulled Mengmeng out of the little boy’s grasp, “Luo Mengmeng, come here to me!”
Having said that, he didn’t utter another word and pulled her towards his bed.
“Honey?” Mengmeng followed behind him, scratching her head and blinking in confusion, “Didn’t you not want to sleep with me?”
So why was he suddenly taking her to his bed?
“Can’t I change my mind?” Gu Zhihan slightly raised his voice, annoyed and glaring at her as if blaming her for talking nonsense.
Joking aside, even if he didn’t fancy her, she was still legally his little wife. He certainly didn’t consider himself magnanimous enough to let his woman sleep with another boy!
Especially in his presence, sharing a bed!!
“Alright, alright, whatever hubby says is right, is correct…”
Mengmeng stopped thinking about why he changed his mind abruptly and just climbed into his bed after taking off her little shoes and socks.
Gu Zhihan snorted softly and lay down on the bed as well.
As soon as she lay down, the little girl’s limbs acted like they had flipped a switch, immediately entwining him. Her soft arms tightly wrapped around his neck, legs clasped against his waist, and her pale cheeks pressed against his face, the breath from her nostrils spilling onto his cheeks.
“Honey, could you give me a good afternoon kiss?” Mengmeng shook his arm gently.
“No.” Gu Zhihan’s thin lips barely moved, and he closed his eyes without expression, ignoring Mengmeng.
“Then I’ll give you one!” Mengmeng, already knowing she would be rejected, didn’t feel disappointed and puckered up her rosé little lips, planting a big “mwah” on his handsome cheek!
So this works too! I give up! I give up!
Teacher Tao, the single dog beside them, silently turned his head and discreetly wiped away tears—such a massive rub-it-in-your-face scene!!!
Thus, Teacher Tao was tormented all the way until the preschool released for summer vacation.
Because the weather was really too hot, the kindergarten let out for summer vacation on June 20th, which, coincidentally, was also the Dragon Boat Festival!
