Everyone responded immediately.
"Okay, class dismissed." The chemistry teacher said and walked out with his books.
During the lunch break, Luo Mengmeng poked Gu Zhihan, "Are you going to the chemistry lab later?"
"Yes." Gu Zhihan, who was about to leave with his books, saw a longing on her face and couldn’t help but ask, "Do you want to go too?"
"I want to go!" Luo Mengmeng quickly nodded like a pecking chick.
"Then let’s go together." Gu Zhihan agreed to take her along.
When they arrived at Laboratory 2, Mengmeng couldn’t help but ask excitedly, "What experiment are you going to do first?"
Although chemistry was difficult and dry, the chemistry experiments were very interesting, so Mengmeng was super excited.
As Gu Zhihan prepared the materials for the upcoming experiment, he answered her question, "I’ll do the experiments suggested in the book one by one."
"Okay!" Mengmeng moved a small stool and sat in front of him, watching him conduct the experiments.
Gu Zhihan had already put on safety goggles and started the experimental procedures.

Luo Mengmeng touched her nose and then turned to watch Jiang Yibai’s experiment nearby.
He was conducting the same experiments as Gu Zhihan.
Feeling someone watching him, Jiang Yibai quickly looked to find the source of the gaze. When he realized it was Mengmeng, his sunny handsome face broke into a smile, "Mengmeng, let me show you something!"
Luo Mengmeng tilted her head, looking puzzled.
"You’ll find out soon." Jiang Yibai smiled mysteriously, then used a spirit lamp to melt solid lead iodide, and then he began shaking the bottle after it was poured inside.
Initially, Luo Mengmeng didn’t understand what he was doing, but soon she saw the liquid in the conical flask turning yellow and crystals forming. As more and more crystals appeared, the entire bottle glittered like a grand shower of gold.
"Beautiful, beautiful!" Luo Mengmeng nodded eagerly, moved her stool closer to him, and asked curiously, "How did you do that!"
"This experiment is called the ’golden rain’; it’s very simple. It involves using..." Jiang Yibai’s smile was softer as he was about to explain the chemistry behind it, when Gu Zhihan spoke up first.
"It’s just a little trick with lead iodide, is it that astonishing?" Gu Zhihan said coldly, pulling the girl back as he spoke.
He had just finished his experiment and noticed she was missing; he thought she had gone back to the classroom, only to turn around and find her praising his rival.
Luo Mengmeng sensed he was upset and replied in agreement, "Not astonishing, not astonishing..."
Oh, speaking against her heart really hurt!
"Humph!" Gu Zhihan heard her tone and knew she was just placating him, so he firmly placed her back on the seat, "I’ll do a prettier experiment for you."
After saying that, he put on his safety goggles again and started to look for chemical reagents.
