"No!" Luo Mengmeng was in no mood to pose for photos—she was seething with rage!
Seeing his attempt meet with total rejection and her infuriated appearance, Lu Zichen couldn’t help but ask, "Mengmeng, what’s wrong with you?"
"Didn’t you see the blackboard newspaper was destroyed?" Luo Mengmeng enunciated each word distinctly, her voice laced with a teeth-gritting anger even at a distance.
"The blackboard newspaper was destroyed?" Lu Zichen echoed her words in astonishment, then immediately looked up at the blackboard. What he saw made him curse loudly, "Which little bastard did this?"
A classmate replied timidly.
"Then I’ll go ask other classes!" Lu Zichen was determined to find the perpetrator.
After his outburst, just as he was about to leave the classroom, Gu Zhihan stopped him.
"Wait a second." Gu Zhihan pressed on his shoulder, not letting him leave.
Lu Zichen glanced at him irritably, "What do you want?"
"I’m off to seek the truth now, don’t stop me." Lu Zichen thought Gu Zhihan was trying to hinder him.
"You’re thinking too much, I have no intention of stopping you." Gu Zhihan said while he took the instant camera from Lu Zichen’s hands, stating his purpose, "I need to borrow this for a while."
"What are you going to do?" Lu Zichen quickly clutched his precious camera, eyeing him warily, "My dad just bought this for me."
"I need it to fix the blackboard newspaper," Gu Zhihan said, seizing it without waiting for his consent.
"What?" Upon hearing this, Lu Zichen was momentarily dumbstruck.
Could a camera even fix a blackboard newspaper? Was this some kind of joke?
Not just Lu Zichen—Luo Mengmeng and the other classmates were completely stunned as well.
But Luo Mengmeng believed that if Gu Zhihan said so, he must have a plan, so she quickly asked, "Gu Zhihan, how do you intend to do it?"
"I’m going to take a photo of every student in our class and stick them onto the blackboard with adhesive," Gu Zhihan explained in simple terms.
Luo Mengmeng instantly understood his idea.
He wanted to create a photograph wall.
"But... will that work?" Luo Mengmeng asked with some uncertainty.
No one had ever made such an extraordinary blackboard newspaper before.
"We have no choice now; it’s like using a dead horse as a living one. Besides not being able to remove the paint from the blackboard, even if we did, there’s not enough time to make another newspaper," Gu Zhihan sighed.
The photograph wall blackboard newspaper, however, was much easier. They just needed to "click, click" take some pictures and paste them on with glue.
"This is the only way!" Luo Mengmeng hesitated no more, took out money from her backpack and ran to the store, "I’m off to buy glue now."
After Gu Zhihan agreed, he gestured for the classmates in the room to come up one by one for photos, also having them write their hopes for the future on paper, hold them up to their chests, and capture it all in a picture.

"Absolutely, we need to be quick," Luo Mengmeng hastily picked up the glue, smeared it on the back of the pictures, and started affixing them to the blackboard one by one.
