Luo Mengmeng couldn’t help but give him a pat on the head.
She noticed that ever since they began dating, he had seemed like a completely different person with an especially sweet tongue.
Mengmeng had a full schedule of classes today, and by the time school let out, the sky had already turned dark.
Mengmeng flopped directly onto the desk.

Now, apart from that sort of thing, nothing else seemed to interest him at all.

On the street, passersby saw a man carrying a little girl on his back.
The girl’s face was puffed up with anger, seemingly throwing a tantrum at the boy.
But the man was just smiling good-naturedly, his face full of indulgence.
Some passersby couldn’t help but sigh, "Girls these days really know how to act spoiled..."
"What nonsense are you spouting!" Luo Mengmeng happened to hear this and immediately got so furious she bristled, her eyes glaring at the passerby.
The thing she hated the most were people who didn’t know the truth yet thought they knew everything!
"Even if my wife is spoiled, I like it," Gu Zhihan retorted to the passerby.
Under the streetlights, Gu Zhihan carried the little girl all the way to the entrance of their apartment complex.
The light stretched their shadows very long, overlapping as if they were one person.
While waiting for the elevator, Luo Mengmeng saw sweat on his forehead and shuffled on his back, signaling him, "Gu Zhihan, you can put me down now."
"Okay," Gu Zhihan nodded, then promptly bowed down, setting her steadily on the ground.
After getting down, Mengmeng hurriedly raised her delicate little hands to wipe his sweat, "You’ve worked hard."
"It’s not hard," Gu Zhihan affectionately smiled.
As they spoke, other people came over to wait for the elevator.
It was Tong Mo and Li Zijue.
"Uncle, let me tell you, the people living above us are really annoying. The racket they make in the middle of the night makes it outright impossible for me to sleep!"
"Isn’t it tiring to keep up with that without dropping dead!"

At this moment, Tong Mo, with two enormous dark circles, was full of grievances as she vented to Li Zijue.
Because Gu Zhihan and Mengmeng were noisy all last night, Tong Mo also had a restless sleep.
"Whatever you decide," Li Zijue had no objections.

Mengmeng caught their conversation as well; she felt the voice sounded familiar, so she couldn’t help but turn her head to look towards the source of the sound.
When she saw it was Tong Mo, she couldn’t help calling out.
"Eh?" Tong Mo, who had been talking to Li Zijue, immediately lifted her head, and when she realized it was Mengmeng who had called her, she also couldn’t help but exclaim.
"What are you doing here?"
Immediately after, both of them spoke at the same time.
Then again, they simultaneously answered,
"Gu Zhihan and I bought a house here."
"I’m living with the Viscount."
