Clan Cultivation: Starting from Beast Taming Chapter 520

Good fortune begets a lifted spirit.

The series of joyful events that occurred in the Zhou Family always kept Zhou Chun, the Clan Leader, in a state of delight.

In these past few years, the smiles he showed were far more than ever before.

In such a cheerful mood, he almost forgot about another vexing matter.

Until that matter came knocking on his door once again.

One day, after returning to his residence for rest, Zhou Chun was suddenly invited into a room by Su Yuzhen.

Upon entering the room and being served a cup of tea by Su Yuzhen, she looked at him and said, "Considering the time, it's already been two years since Yuzhen arrived at the Zhou Family. I wonder, Taoist Friend Zhou, have you made your preparations?"

Zhou Chun was initially stunned, but he quickly understood what Su Yuzhen was referring to.

Truthfully, had Su Yuzhen not brought it up, he might have really forgotten about it.

Perhaps time played a role, for as he now recalled this matter, his heart no longer felt such strong aversion.

It was probably because over these two years, he found that he didn't actually dislike Su Yuzhen at all.

Time is indeed often a great healer.

Matters that once seemed of great concern, when mentioned after a period, no longer stir the same feelings.

Thus, after taking a sip of tea, Zhou Chun calmly nodded to Su Yuzhen and said, "I see no issues on my part. Miss Su, when would you like to begin?"

"Let's start after seven days," Su Yuzhen said softly, after giving Zhou Chun a thoughtful look, indicating the specific time to start. "Taoist Friend Zhou, you can arrange for someone to take over the family affairs in the next few days. You might need to go into closed-door cultivation for a month or two."

"Understood," Zhou Chun replied. He gulped down the remaining tea in his cup and stood up to leave the room.

Seven days swiftly passed by.

After making all necessary arrangements, Zhou Chun returned to his own courtyard and activated the Formation before placing a sign indicating he was in closed-door cultivation.

In the room, Su Yuzhen had also made her preparations.

When Zhou Chun entered the room with a rather complex state of mind, he saw Su Yuzhen had already stripped off her clothes and lay on the bed with her eyes tightly closed, as if asleep.

At this scene, his breath caught involuntarily.

Then, gritting his teeth, he strode towards the bed.

In matters of intimacy, Su Yuzhen was undoubtedly a complete novice, her knowledge purely theoretical.

Yet, once she truly got into the swing of things under Zhou Chun's guidance, she took control almost immediately.

This was because the "The Mysterious Art of the Plain Girl" she practiced was essentially a dual cultivation technique.

During the dual cultivation, she instinctively started running the Cultivation Technique, taking the lead.

Throughout the whole process, she was like a bottomless pit, continuously drawing from Zhou Chun's magical power.

It was strange, for even Zhou Chun himself had struggled to withstand his own robust and fierce Golden Soup Magical Power when he first harnessed it.

Yet, when Su Yuzhen absorbed this power, she did so with ease, suffering no harm whatsoever.

And after this power circulated within her and returned to Zhou Chun, it was even purer and more subdued.

This discovery surprised Zhou Chun, and he totally let go of his worries.

In the three months that followed, Zhou Chun and Su Yuzhen practiced dual cultivation more than a dozen times.

In this process, both of them benefited immensely.

There's no need to elaborate on Su Yuzhen; as the leading party in the dual cultivation, having been nourished by Zhou Chun's pure Metal Element Magical Power, she elevated her magical power to the brink of the ultimate stage of Foundation Establishment.

On the other hand, Zhou Chun made modest progress in his cultivation by receiving her Primordial Yin Force. Three months of cultivation was almost equivalent to three years of normal practice.

One day, after they had finished another dual cultivation session and both had meditated, Su Yuzhen took the initiative to say farewell.

She reached up to brush aside her disheveled hair and tidied her long locks before bowing slightly to Zhou Chun and saying, "Thank you for your assistance these past days, Taoist Friend Zhou. My cultivation is now complete, and I must return to my family to attempt to open the Purple Mansion."

Hearing her words, Zhou Chun couldn't help but be taken aback.

Then, looking at the female cultivator who had shared in more than a dozen dual cultivation sessions with him, his mouth opened as if he wanted to say something, but no sound came out.

Finally, he let out a light sigh and said, "Then I wish Miss Su success and swift achievement of your goals!"

Having said that, he stood up and left the room.

It wasn't long before the sound of Su Yuzhen departing the courtyard reached Zhou Chun, who stood by the window in the main bedroom.

He looked at the departing figure, his mind teeming with images from their three-month entanglement.

Somehow, despite having no particular feelings for Su Yuzhen, whenever they were alone together, he couldn't help but desire something to happen between them.

"Something's amiss, greatly amiss!"

Zhou Chun steadied his mind, sensing that there was something peculiar about the situation, fearing he might have been unwittingly influenced.

But no matter how he checked himself, he found no abnormalities.

And even though he was somewhat lost in enjoyment during each dual cultivation, he never completely let down his guard. If Su Yuzhen had done anything to him at those times, he couldn't have failed to notice.

Confident in his Divine Sense and will, Zhou Chun ended up setting aside his strange thoughts after much deliberation, temporarily, and returned to his normal life.
