The amusement park buzzed with cheerful energy, and Ji Wei unconsciously found herself swept up in the lively atmosphere. She glanced at Mo Qian, who held her hand in one and carried a Mickey balloon in the other, and a sudden warmth welled up in her eyes.
To bystanders, this scene unmistakably resembled a father taking his daughter on an outing to the amusement park.

She walked over to the ticket window and purchased the tickets.
They rode the roller coaster together, then tried the giant pendulum, and finally, after braving the final water ride, Ji Wei was utterly defeated.
The man, calm as ever, watched as the petite woman stood there catching her breath. He raised a brow and asked, "Still up for more?"

"I’ll call the manager. We can have this amusement park closed early," Mo Qian said as he began to pull out his phone.
Ji Wei quickly stopped him. "Forget it. These people are here to enjoy themselves too. Besides, we’ve already played several rides. Let’s head home."
"Alright," Mo Qian agreed immediately.
As Ji Wei stood up, she accidentally stumbled. Though Mo Qian caught her in time, she still twisted her ankle.
Mo Qian saw the pained expression on her face and suddenly moved to stand right in front of her. He crouched down and extended his arms backward. "Get on, I’ll carry you."
In front of so many people... was he really going to carry her?
Ji Wei gazed at the man’s broad back but hesitated to make a move.
"Get on. Don’t worry about others," Mo Qian repeated firmly.
"It’s not that I care about being seen—it’s just, your shoulder injury..." Ji Wei voiced her concern.
It had only been five or six days since the injury. The wound likely hadn’t healed fully.
Mo Qian smiled faintly and patiently explained, "It’s almost healed."
The man’s voice was gentle yet resolute, and Ji Wei hesitated no further. Slowly, she bent down and leaned onto his back.
