The footage showed Nami taking the elevator up to the 25th floor at around nine in the evening, then knocking on the door of room 2507.
When Ji Wei saw Nami being dragged into the room by Miyata’s accomplice, her face instantly turned pale as paper.
She stared intently at the lunchbox that had fallen to the ground on the surveillance footage, pieces of sushi rolling out of it. In her mind, she recalled the conversation with Nami on the streets of Tokyo: "Do you like sushi? There’s a very famous sushi shop in Tokyo. When we get back, I’ll buy some for you to try."
