Though Ji Wei didn’t understand what Gu Moqian had planned, she trusted him unconditionally, so she nodded firmly.
The two ignored Yamamoto Yu, who was trembling with rage, and strode toward the door.
The men in black surrounded them but dared not actually make a move.
By the time Yamamoto Yu snapped out of his daze, he suddenly bellowed, "Catch them for me!"
As soon as his words fell, a gunshot rang out, slicing through the air!
A bullet struck the doorframe of the private room, right above Yamamoto Yu’s head.
Yamamoto Yu’s face instantly turned pale.
The men in black were startled and instinctively drew their guns from their waistbands, aiming toward the source of the shot—the underground fight ring!

Gu Moqian turned around without fear, meeting Yamamoto Yu’s gaze. "But I doubt Mr. Yamamoto intends to honor the bet, correct? So why should we continue to stay here?"
Yamamoto Yu’s short beard trembled with outrage. "It was your people, wasn’t it?"
"Even if I said it wasn’t, Mr. Yamamoto wouldn’t believe me. But everything requires evidence. You can’t frame me without proof. When you catch someone, then let’s talk about my culpability."
After he finished speaking, Gu Moqian turned and resumed walking.
