The Black Star Lord belonged to the Black Origin Evolution Tower; the Lustrous Star Master came from another Evolution Tower, and strictly speaking, Lin Yuan should be considered part of the Xia You Evolution Tower.
However, since all were human Evolvers, there weren't any barriers between them.
"Galaxy Master, I heard Nalan has stepped down from his position as Deputy Tower Master," the Lustrous Star Master said with a gentle gaze directed at Lin Yuan.
Nalan, the Deputy Tower Master of the Xia You Evolution Tower, held significant influence within the Tier 10 circle of human civilization.

The role of Deputy Tower Master in each of the Nine Great Evolution Towers was occupied by Tenth Rank Evolvers.
And once a Deputy Tower Master advanced to Tier 11, they would automatically resign, as Eleventh-Rank Evolvers had far more critical responsibilities ahead.
Such as preparing to strike for the Ultimate, or heading to oversee a Large Alien Battlefield.
Nalan still had plenty of time left in his lifespan and hadn't made any significant mistakes.
Resigning out of nowhere as Deputy Tower Master, and the Supreme Being agreed to it?

"When you have time, Galaxy Master, you'll have to ask Nalan for us, to find out what realization helped him cross that threshold," the Lustrous Star Master looked at Lin Yuan and spoke softly.
Lin Yuan was a member of the Xia You Evolution Tower, and Nalan the Deputy Tower Master.
Their relationship was much closer than with the others.
"Once I encounter Nalan, I will definitely ask," Lin Yuan nodded. He too was curious about how Nalan had made his breakthrough.
Though he currently did not need it, listening more could do no harm.
"Speaking of which, Galaxy Master, you must be about to step into Tenth Rank as well," the Black Star Lord suddenly inquired.
With Lin Yuan's foundation revealed in the Xuanhuang Secret Realm, opening up two billion Spatial Layers, stepping into Tenth Rank... must be just as simple as eating and drinking.
"Yes, with Galaxy Master's aptitude, you might even step into Tier 11 before us," the Skeletal Elder joked.
He spoke offhandedly; with everyone present as Grade A Tier 10s, it could be that any day now someone would follow Nalan's footsteps, advancing to Tier 11 after a single session of seclusion.
