I’ve always wanted to chat with my brothers, so let’s take this last opportunity of the new book period to talk.
1. About the author.
Speaking of which, the author should not be considered a complete newbie anymore. It’s been exactly three years since the first book was officially launched.
Previously, I had been diligently writing at a certain popular site, and fortunately, I had some successful books, topped the charts a few times, and even received the site’s annual best-selling author badge. It was just okay.
Until last July, when my wife was found to be pregnant.
Thinking about how most of these years have been busy times, opening my eyes each day meant writing.
So, I decided to give this fast-moving car of life a bit of a brake.
This brake lasted until this May.
I found myself alone at the starting point, which led to writing this book.
2. About this book
Honestly, after not writing for almost half a year, I wasn’t in the best initial state.
Writing, like studying, needs constant progress.
If you pause even slightly, it’s like rowing upstream; if you don’t advance, you fall back.
Plus, at the start, I had to gradually regain my flow and adapt to the new platform.
I had long missed that feeling of walking on thin ice, repeatedly anxious yet repeatedly surprised every day.
Especially when the book’s stats weren’t great at first; the psychological gap was huge, and the pressure was immense, leading to constant mental exhaustion.
I basically read every review and often checked the background data, leading to a fragile state of mind.
Here, I’d like to thank my editor, Chief Editor WuTong.
Luckily, he never gave up on me, constantly checking in on me, making me gather myself together again after many setbacks.
But now, as the launch draws near, my thoughts have grown peaceful.
Regardless of the results, learn to accept and learn.
The original intent of writing should be to craft a good story, not to focus on results.
Undeniably, a book’s success heavily influences an author’s mindset.
3. About the content.
So far, I’m quite satisfied with the overall story, though admittedly, some details were hastily handled and some areas not well mastered.
I’ll strive for gradual improvement and progress.

4. About updates.
After launch, there will be a guaranteed minimum of 6,000-word daily updates.
In reality, it won’t just be 6,000.
However, it’s best not to make too many promises; leaving some leeway is wise.
If something causes failure to deliver, people might criticize harshly, haha.
Also.
The author wants to delve deeper, to think more about storylines and character development.
5. Regarding additional updates.
I’m not too familiar with the rules for further updates at the platform.
How about this: base it on the first 2,000 subscriptions.
For every additional 500 subscriptions, I’ll add a Chapter; for each additional Alliance Leader, I’ll add a Chapter.
Although, being an Alliance Leader seems to be a bit improbable.

Regarding the launch debut.
At midnight, two Chapters will be released first, then continue with an all-night burst of updates!
The many years of writing at home affected my social skills, and I’m not one for pleasantries.
I can only promise to give it my all, writing until I can write no more!
