Fu Sichen acknowledged Xiao Nian’s presence by replying, “It’s none of your business.”
Xiao Nian shrugged.
He didn’t have much of a choice. His artiste Pei Zhen was now at the mercy of Fu Sichen. Xiao Nian told himself to be the bigger person and to exercise tolerance. He forced himself to put a pleasing smile on his face, “There’s something wrong with your cat. This whole kissing business— even though he had succeeded in foiling Fu Sichen’s attempt today, he knew that he wouldn’t necessarily be able to do it the next time it happened.
Xiao Nian cupped his face with his hands and shook his head.
