Isabella Joanna took a deep breath and repeated her questions clearly.
After listening, Rebecca calmly answered, "Yes, I’ve seen him."

Rebecca slowly lowered her gaze, her lashes brushing her cheeks. "I’m not joking," she said earnestly. "I’m just... I’m just not used to suddenly having someone else around... And, at that moment, I was really scared..."
"My dear lady," Isabella Joanna said, "what are you afraid of? I told you before, every woman goes through that moment... You’re not afraid of the pain, are you?"
