Gazalin’s primary SkyNet is different from the SkyNet on the battlefield. Since the founding of Gazalin, this SkyNet System has been continuously improved and updated. Over hundreds of years, this system has become an enormous
behemoth. It not only controls Gazalin’s military but everything in Gazalin.
It consists of millions of information bases in the Little Pyrenees Star System, naval vessel information systems, Mecha radar, and military information terminals, and most civilian information systems, electronic communication systems, and media systems are all dependent on this vast system. Since any terminal could potentially serve as the SkyNet host, from a certain perspective, this system is almost indestructible.
In this age of highly advanced technology, the privileges of the nobility largely depend on the level of access they have to the SkyNet. Unlike ancient privileges, in this era, without a high-authority identity card, any noble title would be a joke. At the very least, the title won’t make an electronic door open automatically for you, but a high-authority identity card can.
After the coup began in Gazalin, Stephen and others used their high-level access to destroy and modify the SkyNet system from within, significantly paralyzing SkyNet; however, that was temporary. Unless he could obtain James’s level of access, or unify all forces to forcibly reprogram each base and information terminal of SkyNet, this enormous system would continue to operate as it was originally designed, and no one could stop it.
However, Stephen did not seize power, nor did he obtain James’s access. Therefore, both he and Reinhardt could only temporarily establish an independent battlefield SkyNet system for command and communication.
What they didn’t know was that James’s highest SkyNet access had fallen into the hands of a Federation Fatty. It was this Fatty who captured James and caused the current fragmented situation in Gazalin.
Once the highest access is activated, the enormous SkyNet would unleash its terrifying power. Even if its functions were restricted and destroyed from within by sixty percent, the remaining forty percent would still be far more massive than any temporary battlefield network.
Originally, having the highest access also required sufficient operational skills to utilize SkyNet’s full capabilities. One person or one or two groups alone couldn’t possibly perform such complex operations. But when such a system falls into the hands of a scheming AI, the results are undoubtedly chilling. If there were one entity in this world with unlimited real-time computing power, which could effortlessly navigate the network and even make SkyNet a part of its brain, it naturally could only be the AI known as Little Pi, who uniquely acquired the highest access.
That is why Fatty dared to accept the mission of two Special Mecha Groups behind enemy lines, daring to boast about robbing in an area crawling with enemies without air strikes or air mobility.
When Rashid and Stewart saw the computer of [Logic] displaying an electronic map utilizing thousands of space satellites and ground radar from SkyNet, clearly marking enemy blockades and movement and garrison areas, and saw the convoluted but perfectly safe breakout route drawn by Fatty based on enemy movement routes and timings, they almost fainted.
This was no battle; it was like playing a game with cheat codes!
Before this, although the two knew Fatty was formidable, knowing he was a student of Russell and had learned many things in command, all his previous actions were solo or with small teams.
Now suddenly leading two groups on a precarious operation behind enemy lines, a small mistake due to lack of experience could result in total annihilation. So, Rashid and Stewart were a bit worried. It’s just that they weren’t well-versed in behind-enemy-lines tactical command either, so they decided to let Fatty handle it.
Seeing this electronic map now, their previous worries vanished into thin air. All that remained was admiration. The two exchanged a glance and thought, "No wonder Fatty boasted about knowing the area well and taking the guys to rob. He has SkyNet in his hands after all; how could he fail?"
Unaware of the top-secret existence of Little Pi, Rashid and Stewart were incredibly impressed by how Fatty managed to control SkyNet, mobilize satellites and ground radar to survey the entire area and immediately create a precise route map in such a short time.
With a unified plan, the troops set out; 2,800 Mechas divided into three segments, advancing rapidly along the route designated by Fatty in stealth mode.
Piloting the heavily modified and battered [Warrior Leader], Rashid, flanked by Stewart in his [Du Fu’ai] Private Mecha, marched beside [Logic]. In the dense jungle, apart from the splashy sounds of the Mechanical Battalion moving through mud and water, there was no other noise.
"General, what will we do once we get out?"
Rashid was very comfortable with his former subordinate becoming his superior, calling him "General" sweetly and cheerfully, making Fatty overjoyed.
