Harlia had taken off in the air.
She hadn't done this all this while because she was waiting for fifteen minutes to be over. Her Ego needed fifteen minutes to be able to get used again.
After the time was up, she was finally ready and jumped where Malvador was.
Pablo was left on the ground and he didn't have to kill the cannon fodder Vampires anymore. Harlia was already where she wanted and the cannon fodder now can't do anything to stop her.
But now he wondered if he should worry about Harlia and watch over her or he could just forget her and focus on killing as many soldiers as he could.
There were still a lot of soldiers around even after so many deaths and there were only cries. Back on earth, such a war hadn't happened because none of them had Egoes and none of them had that much balls to fight day in and day out without eating, sleeping, fucking and shitting.
Also, unlike Earth, the people sitting at the top weren't inside their offices. They were at the war as well. They were fighting along with their soldiers. None of them were cowards.
Pablo stared at the sky as he believed it was high time for the rain to stop and as if the Gods were watching and hearing him, because just after he thought that, the rain stopped.
"You lost Sera's Ego." Cupid reported.
So now I can copy one more Ego. Should I copy her Ego again or go to Boulder and choose his? Her luck had helped me all this time. If I stop using it then I might face danger. Fuck this. Let's check it.
Pablo looked around. He stood on his spot, not moving and looked all around himself.
While he was looking to his left, his senses rang.
A spear went past his head and someone else died.
Yeah. I should go with luck.
Pablo made up his mind and acted on it right away.
"Sera. Where are you?"
"Ah.. Don't talk to me, please."
"The hell? Who are you? Where is Sera?"
"You can't be. She will never say something like that."

No other girl could call herself Pablo's wife.
"You are not my wife for God's sake. But forget it, why don't you want to talk with me?"
Sera stayed silent for a while, not sure how to say it but she showed courage and…
"I… I.. I am playing a game right now." She said it.
Now Pablo went silent.
"You are doing what?" He asked.
"I am playing a game." She said again.
"Why!? What kind of game? Where did you find a game during a war? And why play it? What is wrong with you?"
"You were bored so you are playing a game during a fucking war?"
"Are you out of your mind? Just because you have protection doesn't mean you can treat this place as a garden!"
"What game are you playing?"
Sera stayed silent again.
Pablo didn't ask again but he surely wanted to know and he was sure Sera would answer, late, yes, but she would answer.
"Finding.. Finding Pa-pablo."
Now Pablo went silent… again.
"Finding Pablo is the game."
"What the fuck? Did someone hit your head with a war hammer?"
All the other soldiers were laughing hearing their talks and Sera's face was flushed red.
"I was finding you without any clues. That's why I was silent for all this time in case I got a clue about where you were by mistake and end up losing the game."
Pablo pinched his forehead.
He took deep breaths.
Sera treated this war like a playground and Pablo really didn't like it. But he couldn't do anything about it as he can't control her mind. Also, even her fictional game involved him. She loved him that much.
In the end, he shook his head.
"Forget the game. Tell me where you are. I am coming towards you." He said.
"Okay." Sera agreed and looked at Andrezj.
Andrezj sighed, nodded and snapped his fingers.
The next second, a white light pillar erected from where he was floating and it only stayed for one second.
But that was enough for Pablo to know the place and he ran towards it.
Along the way, he stayed careful, extra careful, as he didn't have Sera's good luck anymore. Anything could happen to him now.
But since he was strong and fast, he sliced through everyone who came in his way and killed as he dashed towards Sera.
Also, he didn't tell Sera that he saw Andrezj's sign and was coming towards her as he didn't want the enemies to hear him talking and blocking his way more than they were doing right now.
Sera also didn't ask him anything as she was a smart girl and patiently waited for her dear to come to her.
After five minutes, Pablo finally saw Sera.
Corpses littered the path behind him, the ones whom he killed while coming towards Sera.
Sera also saw Pablo and she beamed.
Pablo shook his head and walked towards her.
As soon as he reached in front of her, Sera wrapped her hands around his neck.
Pablo didn't deny the warmth but he surely showed no smile on his face as he had come towards her for a purpose, a purpose that steals her life force.
But Pablo would think about all this shit later.
He didn't push Sera away from himself, held her waist, and activated his Ego right away.
