Harlia was in front of Malvador.
The Vampire king had no choice but to fight her as he believed he wouldn't be able to run away and swallow more hearts.
So, he readied himself and raised his sword, Gemini.
Harlia launched herself towards him with her full strength.
She raised her right fist and Malvador raised his Gemini.
Both the flesh and steel clashed with a loud sound and Malvador hoped to see some blood.
But what he saw made him unaware of the strength of his Gemini as Harlia, with her fist, had bent the edge of his sword.
Malvador's sword could suck the blood of his enemies as Malvador had killed the first High Duke like that at the start. Gemini had turned the man into a husk.
But the sword could only suck the blood of the enemies who got cut with it in the first place. The High Duke had grabbed Gemini with his bare hand and in doing so, he had gotten cut on his palm and that cut was enough for Gemini to kill the man.
Malvador had believed something like that would happen to this woman in front of him as well but his Gemini wasn't even able to land a single scratch on Harlia. Harlia's wrist faced no blood on it even when she had struck right on the sharp edge of the blade. Heck, she wasn't hurt but she bent Gemini of all things.
Just one punch from her and she managed to bend a sword that had slain many people just after the war had begun.
Pablo had also reached this spot and he found it by hearing the sound of flesh and sword clashing. He also followed his senses and looked for the spot from where two heartbeats were coming.
He knew Malvador was taking out hearts and they were beating, so Pablo just looked for two heartbeats coming from the same place and in no time, he reached the place.
When he had reached, Malvador had gulped the heart he was holding on his hand and Harlia had launched herself at him.
Pablo then watched how the Admiral bent his sword with just her fist alone and Pablo only laughed as he couldn't believe he was watching a Woman strong enough to be able to do that.
He believed that Gods were creating a monster but by mistake, they ended up making a human female.
Pablo stayed behind Harlia and watched the fight and he made sure not to disturb the Admiral.
After the bending of Gemini, Malvador jumped a few steps back.
Harlia scoffed. "Afraid?"
Malvador said nothing and stared at Gemini.
"Hey, Gemini. Correct yourself. You are drinking blood for all this time. Use it to heal yourself."
Pablo heard him talk and he expected something like that. After all, he also talks with Colt.

After a second, in front of Harlia and Pablo, Gemini restored itself. It wasn't bent anymore. It was as good as new now.
"You turned your sword into a Vampire too." Harlia said.
Malvador raised his shoulders. "Didn't have a choice. And I wasn't so proud of my decision as I am now."
Harlia smiled. "Next time, I will kill it. Try to heal it then."
"Are you here to fight me or my sword?"
"I am here to kill you." Harlia stated.
Malvador sighed. "You aren't the only one here for that."
"I know. But I am the strongest one among them all."
"All of them say that."
"Which one of them managed to bend your sword then?"
Malvador smiled. "You got me there."
"Though," he added. "The person behind you can also compete for your position."
Malvador mentioned Pablo and Pablo showed no expressions.
He merely stood behind Harlia with his Colt and just watched their fight.
Harlia didn't even turn around to see whom Malvador was talking about.
"He is already in my position, Vampire. And I am in no mood for such talks." She said, tying her hair in a bun. Her hair was already tied, she just tightened them. She had no intention of giving Malvador something he could grab onto to hurt her.
"I see. So you only want to kill me. Just because I said I will rape you? Is that it?"
"But don't you think it's too soon for that? There are still so many soldiers. The people at the top shouldn't fight this early." Malvador said and hearing all this, Pablo frowned.
Does he not want to fight with Harlia? Is he afraid? Is he stalling for something? Why? What is he trying to do? Is he weaker than her? Or is he just messing around? Can he kill Harlia or not? No one talks this much.
Pablo didn't like the manner of Malvador handling things and he especially didn't like it right now. Harlia was ready to fight him and yet, he was just talking and talking. What was his Ego? What was his plan? If he doesn't want to fight then why the hell did he start the War? And if he was weaker than Harlia and Pablo then how the hell was he strong enough to kill the Old Vampire king and his whole court in just a span of some minutes? What was this Vampire plotting?
Pablo stared at the man with keen eyes but said nothing. He believed Harlia was smart enough to figure things out herself and handle them as well.
Harlia squinted her eyes at Malvador. "Did you really kill the Vampire king and his whole court?"
"Why, yes. I did." Malvador agreed.
"The way I see it, you are only good at killing soldiers and when someone strong enough comes in front of you, you run with your tail between your legs."
"Oh, believe me, Admiral. I am an honest man. And the way I see it, no one in your kingdom…"
Malvador laughed and the next second, his smile died.
"Is strong enough to make me run."
