"Yue wait!" his mother ran to him as soon as he walked in.
"What is it mum?" Zou Yue gently held her hand.
"umm.... can we.... talk?" she anxiously glanced at his father, who seem to be waiting in the hallway.
Zou Yue glanced at them both worriedly.. "okay... but is something wrong? Why doo both of you seem so anxious?" he mumbled as his mother led him to the chair.
She sat him down and both his parents sat opposite him.
Zou Yue innocently sat there waiting for them to start talking.
"Yue...." his father hesitantly glanced at his mother.
"Yes dad,"
"ummm.... we know..." he whispered softly.
"Know what?" Zou Yue froze. 'Do they know that I've been stocking food? Shit looks like I have to start talking...'
He dwindled with his thumb as he glanced at them. "Yue we kind of..."
"Dad, I'm sorry I hid it from you. I was worried that you would panic, so I hid it. In fact, I have been very well prepared for a reason..." Zou Yue hurriedly whispered.
His dad held his hand gently, patting it gently. "We accept you as you are. You are our precious child and we would not want you any different." he smiled fondly.
Zou Yue blinked. "okayyyyyy?"
His mother immediately jumped in. "We did not mean to startle you or anything but we just want you to know that we are okay with whomever you chose...."

By this point Zou Yue lost track of the conversation. 'What about choosing? Who am I going to choose? What are they eve talking about?' he saw how his parents were so relieved after saying this. 'What the hell is going on?'
His mother sat next to him and hugged him tight. "Soo, it's okay... it's okay for you to dress as you want..."
Zou Yue froze. He was still wearing that same white blouse and pants underneath. 'How did she know? Fuck!!!'
He hurriedly held her hand. "Mum, you see that is not what you think.."
'I do not have any perverted intensions' is what he wanted to say.
But the words did not come out. His mother cupped his mouth close before he could deny any claims.
"Yue baby, we love you. We love YOU. Clothes does not define you, and we will no be prejudiced against you for what you wear, and who you love. That's all that matters.." she gently poked his chest. "So don't be afraid o is who you are. Don't be afraid to express yourself in any way you want. If anyone makes fun of you let me know. I will make sure that they won't even see the light of the day."
"Yes Yue, don't be afraid dad also accepts you," his dad immediately followed his wife.
Zou Yue slumped back. 'Okay, where is this conversation going? I think they might have misunderstood me even more. I do not have the interest to dress as a woman... I am not gay either....'
Suddenly fan Xui's face came into mind.
'Wait, am I gay? I mean... I am attracted to six packs and muscles...' he glanced at his own tummy. 'Fuck!!!!!'
His mother hugged him tighter. "don't worry baby all is fine," his father also joined the group hug.
All the while, poor Zou Yue was going through an identity crisis.
He blankly went back to his room, changed out of his clothes and laid on the bed.
Little Trexa gran jumped on his face excitedly.
He gently lifted her off and placed her on his chest. "Tell me Trexa am I gay? Really am I?"
Trexa gran glanced at him with her head tilted.
The ten years he lived in the apocalypse he never had a partner, never had a comrade or a friend. All alone, he survived. Even though gay marriages and being homosexual was widely popular during that time, he was never that interested.
"Or maybe I never met anyone interesting." He sat up stiffly. "ummm.. I need to check this."
He ran to his computer and searched 'gay test'
A website popped up, and he started to answer the questionnaire. He paused in the second question. "What does lady gaga do?"
"How the fuck am I supposed to know? What is this test? Is this legitimate?.."
It only had trashy questions like who is lady gaga, do you know a gay celebrity?
He boringly tapped the answers randomly.
Suddenly his whole screen was filled with an image of a naked man.
"FUCK!!!!" he swiftly closed the browser, erased the history and closed the laptop for good. "Okay I am officially disgusted....."
The little rat scurried over to his feet with a nut in its mouth.
"Trexa gran, I think my eyes have been tainted....."
The little rat gave him the nut and ran back to its cage. It came back with a small paper magazine cutting of a topless anime character Eren Jaeger.
He had actually pestered this to his walls, but somehow this rat had torn it and hid it in its cage.
"Even you are driving me 'nuts'" he glanced at the anime once more. "Maybe I am a little gay. Who cares I'm not hurting anyone."
He shrugged it off and happily went to take a nap.
