Finally, Su Chen stopped in front of a dark gate. He took a deep breath and, mimicking the guards of the giant tower, began to turn the blood-red beast-shaped stone pillar in front of the door. With a muffled sound, the gate gradually opened to reveal a vast and desolate scene within!
Su Chen didn’t see anyone, so he walked a few steps forward. But just as he spotted the bearded monster sleeping near the furnace on the left, he heard the sound of the gate closing automatically!
When he tried to rush back, the gate had already been mercilessly shut.
"Damn it, how could they not give any warning!"
Su Chen cursed for the third time.
But as a heavy snore resounded, he suddenly froze there! Too angry, he’d forgotten about the bearded monster. That bearded monster, could he be the monster guarding the second level?

Su Chen was secretly startled. Just the look of this saber spoke volumes of the bearded monster’s might. He suddenly regretted rushing inside without thinking.
The monster’s snores were thunderous as he turned around by the furnace. However, he accidentally crushed something, causing it to make a crisp cracking sound! Su Chen’s lifted foot stopped in mid-air; he crouched, staring blankly at the bearded monster who opened his eyes with a look of impatience.
The monster blinked his fierce eyes and casually brought the crushed item up for a look. And upon seeing it, Su Chen was scared stiff!
Because that item was a broken half of a human skull! Upon closer inspection, Su Chen found dozens of varying sizes of human skulls hanging on the furnace wall!
Despite having experienced a bloody confrontation yesterday, where he almost lost his life, seeing so many human skulls at once still startled Su Chen.
He backed up several steps, his eyes warily fixed on the bearded monster, retorting, "Who are you then?"
The bearded monster glared, his breath instantly becoming murky. He stood up with a sudden move, resembling a giant black bear. "I am Demon Lord of Chaos, Zhao Tianjing. Kid, since you’ve come here today, don’t dream of walking out that door alive!"
Zhao Tianjing? Su Chen watched the monster cautiously, silently guessing his strength.
Beast Warrior? Shouldn’t be possible; just the saber alone exuded absolute deterrence. How could a Beast Warrior be equipped with such a domineering weapon? Then he’s a Beast Master, Bloody Heaven’s second stage couldn’t be much tougher than the first. But different star levels of Beast Masters vary greatly in strength, and a single slip might get him slain.
He wanted to test the opponent’s strength and intelligence.
"Hey, I’m a two-star Beast Master, and you dare boast. I’ll teach you a lesson later."
Su Chen deliberately acted fierce.
Zhao Tianjing heard this and laughed heartily, his voice boisterous, "A mere two-star Beast Master dares to boast, see how I’ll use the Demon King Battle Saber to chop you into pulp!"
He grabbed from a distance, and the heavy, powerful battle saber flew toward him, landing steadily in his hand. Su Chen felt a shiver in his heart, could Zhao Tianjing have already surpassed a two-star Beast Master?
"Accept your fate, kid. Surrender peacefully, and I might grant you a swift end."
Su Chen’s eyes narrowed, stubbornly defiant, "We won’t know till we fight. Come on! Let’s have a real weapon duel!"
With a clang, he drew his blood-red sword from his back, radiating an intense fighting spirit.
Zhao Tianjing laughed again, his laughter truly deafening, "Good, I’ll fulfill your wish!"
Holding the battle saber, he strode with tiger-like steps, a layer of faint blood glow surfaced on his body, integrating him with the saber. Suddenly, several small whirlwinds stirred in the air, and beside them, the furnace fire shook intensely.
Suddenly, he roared loudly, charging at Su Chen like thunder, his saber high above without technique, striking down. With a resounding clang, a burst of dazzling starlight exploded in the air!
Su Chen’s tiger mouth ached, though his sword remained in hand, he staggered back several steps. Zhao Tianjing seemed to hesitate briefly, then swung the saber again with unstoppable momentum, slashing mercilessly downward!
Su Chen, despite being thwarted, his fighting spirit surged.
He nimbly dodged the strike, kicked hard on the ground, leaping up, his blood-red sword slicing at Zhao Tianjing’s abdomen with an extremely tricky angle. Zhao Tianjing chuckled, surprisingly blocking the sword with the saber blade, then grasped the hilt, quickly dragging the blade back along. Su Chen panicked, quickly leaned his toe on the blade and propelled away, barely avoiding the sharp blade’s drag.
"Kid, your speed is quite fast, but unfortunately your strength, is too small!"
Zhao Tianjing laughed arrogantly, dragging the saber along the ground swiftly, splitting the ground open and sending sparks flying!
With a furious slash, the Demon King Battle Saber drew a blood-red arc in mid-air, crashing fiercely into the ground where Su Chen stood, "Earth-Split Slash!"
