Cultivation Simulator: Shocking the Academy Chapter 80

Chang Zhichun smiled meaningfully, then turned and left, his steps not showing any hesitation.

Bai Yun watched his back for a long while before suddenly exclaiming, "Senior Brother, wait for me..."

Su Chen felt as if he had slept through an eternity, until the afterglow of the sunset shone on his face, he groggily opened his eyes and discovered that all the youths who shared the same cabin were gone.

He rolled out of bed, stretching lazily, twisting his neck, feeling a wave of comfort. The fatigue from the journey of the last few days, which he had never experienced before, was outweighed by the freshness and curiosity in his heart.

He climbed off the bed, pushed open the cabin door, and looked at the infinitely beautiful evening scenery outside, feeling a deep sense of tranquility in his heart. It turned out there were such serene and beautiful sights on Three Pure Ones Mountain. It seemed living here in the future would add some pleasure to his life.

With a few steps, Su Chen left the cabin and walked back along the winding path he had taken earlier. As he passed the main hall of the Carefree Sect, he couldn’t resist taking a deep look inside.

Inside that towering gate, it was incomparably spacious, with dozens of tall bronze pillars standing around, bringing an air of solemnity and power. In the front hall, an ancient Grand Master’s chair was placed, presumably the seat of the Sect Leader. Behind the chair, there was a tall green wall with a fierce and majestic giant-winged roc painted on it, but Su Chen’s shallow experience prevented him from recognizing what kind of Spirit Beast that roc was. Yet, he guessed it was undoubtedly a wind-type Spirit Beast. On either side of the front hall, two wooden chairs were placed, and further down was a long, neat, wide corridor leading directly to the door of the great hall.

A massive hall, but what exactly was it used for, discussions?

Su Chen speculated inwardly and then walked towards the plaza in front of the hall.

Though it was already dusk, quite a few disciples of the Carefree Sect were still practicing here. As Su Chen walked along, observing, not a single person cast a curious glance at him.

These people were generally between seventeen to twenty years old, each tall and with an ethereal demeanor, while their expressions were either focused or proudly aloof, totally different from the noble disciples Su Chen had seen before. It seemed that years of training had worn away the pampered and profligate nature of those noble kids, yet gave birth to this proud and unyielding temperament of the Beast Cultivator.

Being still young, Su Chen looked up to that giant cauldron with a sense of admiration. How much manpower and resources would it take to cast such a gigantic cauldron? And looking at the light smoke wafting from the cauldron, could there be some hidden mystery?

He naturally didn’t know that this giant cauldron, named "Divine Wind King Cauldron," was a sacred relic passed down through generations in the Carefree Sect, with the miraculous effect of absorbing the energy of heaven and earth, helping disciples of the Carefree Sect to enhance their cultivation speed. As long as one possesses spirit beast bloodline and has mastered elemental skills, they can absorb this energy from heaven and earth, greatly beneficial.

Crossing the middle of the plaza, Su Chen took a left turn.

On the way here earlier, they had walked straight past the great hall to their residence but hadn’t noticed that in the middle of this plaza, there were actually narrow passages on both sides, though few took the left path?

Su Chen walked through the passage silently, finding the road widening as if he had entered a grand mansion courtyard. Along the way were flowerbeds everywhere, with blooming flowers of every kind, and tall trees planted alongside the path, full of vitality and lushness, with butterflies fluttering around and bees buzzing back and forth collecting nectar. The afterglow of the sunset fell on the garden, as if sprinkling a layer of gold dust on the scenery, dazzlingly brilliant.

Before long, Su Chen stood before a painted red pavilion, surrounded by pavilions, terraces, and flowing water from fountains, with exquisite flying bridges and painted beams, incredibly tranquil and beautiful. What caught his eye the most, however, was the beautiful girl with fluttering skirts and a smiling face in the fragrant flowers beneath the delicate pavilion.

What an ethereal beauty, Su Chen was unexpectedly awestruck by her!

The girl wore a gauzy fluttering fairy skirt, her bright eyes and white teeth conveying affection. Her slender waist slightly bent, jade arms gently embracing, turning back with a smile. Even playing among the flowers, her beauty was like a fairy lingering in the mortal world, indescribably lovely.

"Huanhuan, come out quickly, or I’m going back..."

The girl lifted her skirt, dancing among the flowers like a butterfly. Su Chen stood dumbfounded not far away, momentarily unable to regain his senses.

In his family, Su Ya was naturally charming, Su Xue pure and innocent, Su Yu wise and sensible, but never had a girl so easily moved his heart. That feeling of meeting for the first time, yet seemingly predestined in a previous life, startled Su Chen.

He clenched his fist, standing motionless across the flowers, staring at the pure beautiful girl, half a head taller than himself, with a dazed expression.

Suddenly, a cute spotted cat sprang into his arms!

Su Chen reflexively reached out to hold the cat, looking down to see the cat licking his hand with its pink little tongue, familiar and bold.

"Huanhuan, so you’re here! Made me search so hard!"

The girl ran over, looking at the cat in Su Chen’s arms, gently accusing. That faint anger, with threads of playful annoyance, made Su Chen’s heart leap like a startled deer, unable to move.

The girl’s lovely eyes held a trace of curiosity as she looked at Su Chen and asked strangely.

"I... I’m the new one..."

Su Chen was so nervous he stuttered a bit.
