"How much longer before she can come out?" Miyazato Kazama turned to look at the palace composed of spires, a library, and a giant fortress, which seemed to symbolize Farosa’s heart, ever-changing yet self-enclosed.
In the center of the palace, a constantly rotating column of light rose, carved with an immensely mysterious stream of secret script, like the incarnation of an ancient classic.
"As wise as you are, you can understand the significant changes that have taken place in Farosa," Xu Yang walked toward the magical plant garden, conversing with Miyazato Kazama along the way, "Long ago, she acted on her primitive nature, whimsically causing destruction; after her awakening till now, she kept hitting walls, then understanding new rules, that she needs to accept constraints, face facts, make friends, follow orders; since her Ascension, she has become clearer, attained a new concept that transcends all humans and witches."
"Perhaps, but you can’t imagine the psychological activities of a deity," Xu Yang nodded gently, "Once she awakens, you will find that her attitude towards everyone has improved, she will smile at you, respond to your requests, generously give you some things, teach the Little Witches to do good. This is not because she loves you but because she doesn’t care about you at all."
"We’re just passing through Lady Farosa’s life," Miyazato Kazama said with a bitter smile.
"Her thoughts are now a million times more complex than before," Xu Yang continued forward, his pace neither fast nor slow, trying to clarify some important concepts for Miyazato Kazama, "Now, Farosa’s interests might leap from one end of the universe to the other in an instant, and I can only barely keep up. One thing is certain, her interest is no longer on the superficial talk of destroying and remaking the world, the pursuit of pure Power and wisdom surpasses everything else, she wants to find where the truth lies, like searching for the witches’ homeland behind the Starry Sea, like investigating the very nature of the Giant Towers themselves."
"Because now Lady Farosa is fully capable of chasing higher truths, for her, pursuing truth is like achieving goals within easy reach," Miyazato Kazama now understood everything.
"Realizing oneself, transcending the world," Xu Yang looked toward the beam of light extending into the starry sky.
In fact, this beam of starlight and the Galaxy itself were Farosa, her brilliant soul extending boundlessly, like a colorful sea of stars.
"Lady Farosa has indeed gone farther than we have," Miyazato Kazama felt reverence.
"So you must be prepared," Xu Yang nodded, "Once Farosa returns, she may implement a series of ambitious mystical projects, like draining the Magic Power from other parts of the world more thoroughly than Eve Anak ever did; or creating a cannon capable of hunting the Ancient Mystics, shooting all whom she dislikes; or simply, creating the most powerful Witch Legion, erasing any potential threats that might harm us."
"When will that be?" Miyazato Kazama tensed, envisioning the scene where Farosa assigns her endless tasks.
"When she can correctly bind the divinity within herself and finds the track that transcends the world in her dreams and meditations, she will have completed this round of meditation," Xu Yang looked back at Little Farosa racing against the Little Fool on the hillside, rolling in sync down the slope, "As soon as Little Farosa vanishes, we’ll know that Farosa has awakened."
When the Witch Goddess wakes, the world will tremble. Miyazato Kazama couldn’t help but feel exhilarated. She was willing to serve an absolutely powerful being.
A squad of Little Witches wearing dust boots, safety helmets, work clothes, and labor gloves lined up, carrying hoes and buckets among other tools, and, under the lead of their squad leader, entered the Magic Potion garden.
They picked there, harvesting magical plants and stacking them on different carts, waiting to be pushed back to the academy. The seeds of these magical plants were a rare gift from Mond. Miyazato Kazama’s visit was also to obtain them for research.
"The original plants on Nangong Island have grown tall and sturdy, and those transplanted into the secret chambers are also prospering," Xu Yang took three different fruits and their stems from a cart and handed them to Miyazato Kazama, "These fruits are ’simpler’ than the others. You may take them, see what they become in a lab environment, and what active ingredients can be utilized."
"Don’t underestimate the witches!"
Seeing the fruit stolen, the Little Witches surrounded them like a pack of wolves, each having developed their own Magic Power, now they must defend their assets.
Xu Yang promised to give them two hours of open time today, allowing them to leave the secret chambers to frolic elsewhere in the headquarters for a while. They grumbled for a bit, then left satisfied.
Miyazato Kazama packed the fruits carefully, took many more samples for reference, bowed in thanks to Xu Yang, and then hurried back.
She had to find among them magical fruits that could be turned into profitable products.
Compared to Miyazato Kazama, who yearned for a technological golden age, President Lila was more rational and pragmatic; all she needed was to improve efficiency, achieve victory, end the game, and then Lila could leave her work as president and enter the next phase of her life, doing what she really wanted to do.
