Cyber Era Witch Chapter 648

All aspects of the war-related work were being urgently and vigorously advanced.

All they could do now was trust the Disciple Squad, Lila thought silently.

She stuck to the original plan because the Secret Front had already boarded Sato City, targeting the military base of Black Fire Innovation.

Although they couldn’t send signals back to headquarters due to security reasons, Lila believed they had made progress. The capabilities of these individuals differed, and they came from varied backgrounds, but their roles were significant.

Amid the uncertainties of war, the one thing Lila could count on was the squad’s combat power, conviction, and intelligence.

This military exercise had to succeed.

With Black Fire Innovation expanding maniacally outside, it made no sense for Nestor Corporation to just sit in the Northern Archipelago and focus on their own growth. They must strike a severe blow to Black Fire Innovation, and even bring an end to the war in the Eastern Hemisphere, for them to truly build a conducive external environment for concentrated development.

In terms of sales for the "Elite Soldier," as long as Black Fire Innovation’s 220,000-per-unit "Spearman" Synthetic Human continued to be on the market, Nestor Corporation’s 500,000-per-unit "Elite Soldier" just couldn’t sell.

Black Fire Innovation undoubtedly had a monopoly in the military industry, which was precisely where their confidence in igniting wars everywhere came from.

At this very moment, they were on a knife-edge.

Give us a surprise, Secret Front, Lila thought quietly. Was this "Disciple" squad an elite group or just a ragtag bunch?

Elsewhere, in the dense forests and beaches on the outskirts of Sato City, Rinne was in close contact with Masasuke Hazuki, asking him to pinpoint the location of the information data center inside the military base.

Masasuke Hazuki continued his search into the late night, while the rest of the squad hurried to rest and sleep, regaining their strength. Snowball patrolled the forest, responsible for warding off threats.

"There are too many signal sources inside the base; I don’t know which room is worth hacking into. You’ll need to find their real information transmission module node... Simply put, you have to find the core area," Rinne climbed another tree, which the strong wind had bent almost parallel to the ground.

"Is the data center likely on the lowest level of their base or the highest?"

"You’ve given me a tough problem; that Witch’s storm ability is the perfect counter to me," Masasuke Hazuki feared encountering the Storm Princess; if he was dispersed, it would be over for him.

"The power supply!" Rinne thought of this point, "They don’t use much energy, do they?"

"That’s right," Masasuke Hazuki recalled those dark corridors and unlit wall lamps. Black Fire Innovation had power plants, but the output was likely not very high.

"Then you might as well attack the source of the power plant’s energy."

"They have backup energy."

"That’s the key! Just see which devices they restore emergency power to first, and you’ll know which parts they consider most critical!" Rinne explained.

Masasuke Hazuki nodding silently upon hearing the news.

Rinne was indeed smart.

He activated his Gaseous Phase Technique and continued to search within the base, feeling out the direction of the circuits, trying to locate the Thunder Engine. Searching high and low, he crawled through a water pipe, the cylindrical shape of which reminded him of transparent sausages.

Having gotten his bearings, he flew out the window, heading for the power module.

After entering through the main gate, he saw a Guard leaning against the railing, smoking.

Masasuke Hazuki felt the guard looked familiar anyhow.

The guard was a strong, Black man, who didn’t need sleep, was always full of energy, and was ferocious and bloodthirsty.
