One of the reasons why Ignis let Lilith recover herself first was because James told her to do so, as he wanted to impart Yvonne’s information to her.

Looking at Lilith who made the move first, Ignis spread her wings wide, the Sunblood Armor gleaming like a living star forged into scale.
The sheer heat radiating from her body caused frost on the ground within several meters to hiss, melt, and evaporate instantly— yet beyond that radius, Yvonne’s ice remained unmoving, as though frost and flame had drawn territorial borders.
Lilith’s four flaming tails lashed behind her, propelling her forward with supernatural acceleration. Her flame whip ignited again, its edges sharp enough to tear through reinforced mana.
Ignis lowered her posture and slammed her claws into the ground, preparing for the incoming assault— until Yvonne moved.
No sound accompanied her shift, only frost mist as she used her (Arctic Step) skill.
The ground beneath her froze in a widening lotus pattern with every step, and before Ignis completed her defensive shift, Yvonne was already beside Lilith, matching her speed without effort.
The two exchanged a single glance and then they struck together.
Lilith’s whip arced downward in a spiraling descent, aiming to immobilize the joints between Ignis’ armored scales.
Simultaneously, Yvonne extended her fingers, intending to thread the air itself and restrain Ignis’ movement as she used her (Glacial Binding Threads) skill.
Nearly invisible crystalline lines shot outward, thin as spider silk yet they were extremely dense. They wrapped toward Ignis’ limbs and wings with chilling precision.
Ignis didn’t dodge as she chose to retaliate by flapping her wings, using her (Hellstorm Wingbeat) skill.
Fire and shockwave detonated outward in a vortex. Magenta flame shattered, ice threads shattered, and both girls were blasted backward, but they reacted instantly.
Lilith dug in with her claws, anchoring herself through pure brute force.
Yvonne slid backward, boots carving smooth frozen channels across the scorched earth, frost stabilizing her balance before she flicked her finger.
A crystalline spear materialized above her while she activated her (Moonlit Shards) skill.
Dozens of them immediately appeared, sharp as myth and silent as death.
Lilith launched herself forward again.
Her claws burned with condensed demonic foxfire. Swing after swing struck Ignis’ armored scales, each hit layered with deadly accuracy, aiming at her joints, anchor points, and weak geometry rather than brute force.
Ignis blocked one swipe with her forearm, letting the armor take the brunt— yet she countered instantly by snapping her tail in a brutal sweep.
Lilith crossed her claws, bracing herself but—

The force sent her flying a dozen meters, dust erupting beneath her landing as she rolled and immediately sprang upright, her eyes burning brighter while grinning widely
Meanwhile, Yvonne struck. The spears descended like falling stars.
Ignis exhaled and activated his (Cataclysmic Inferno Breath) skill.
The sky lit in red-orange brilliance as flame met ice fiercely.
Moonlit spears shattered, vaporized mid-air, but three thrust through the inferno, coated in frost so dense it resisted thermal destruction.
Ignis tilted her head and battered them aside with her horn, molten sparks spilling across the battlefield.
Lilith returned again as she slashed with both hands, flames coiling into triple layered attack trajectories while her tails shifted independently, launching bite-like bursts of foxfire.
Ignis twisted her massive body, intercepting two attacks with armored plating and countering one with a claw strike that sent shockwaves, but Yvonne interfered.
A wall of frost formed between them the moment she activated the (Crystal Veil Barrier) skill.
Ignis’ claw smashed into it, fracturing the barrier but dispersing the backlash force.
Lilith slid underneath the opening, landing another strike on Ignis’ shoulder, this time leaving a visible scorched scar instead of harmless sparks.
Ignis’ eyes narrowed, not because of pain but acknowledgment. Then, for the first time she moved with her full speed.
Ignis blurred, closing the gap instantly.
Lilith’s pupils shrank, yet she didn’t dodge because she trusted her friend. Yvonne had already raised her hand, using (Frozen Monarch’s Dominion) skill.
A wave of silver-blue released outward, freezing half the battlefield in an instant. Frost raced across Ignis’ legs and lower body and for a moment, her movement slowed down considerably.
Lilith immediately struck, her whip wrapped around Ignis’ horn, redirecting her motion. Two claws raked across the seam between armor below the jawline, leaving glowing magenta marks.
However, Ignis grinned instead. She didn’t know why but it felt like she hadn’t had a proper fight for a really long time. Now that she was against two strong opponents, she finally felt the thrill once again.
She then opened her mouth, preparing for an attack that could be used instantly.
But, Lilith had already flung herself away while Yvonne crossed her hands as she activated her (Frost Petal Dance) skill.
Dozens — no, hundreds of razor-thin crystalline petals spiraled outward, intercepting the explosion of flame and creating a hurricane of melting ice and explosive heat.
The collision filled the battlefield with steam, sparks, roaring energy and then followed by silence.
Lilith was panting with her shoulders rising and falling slowly. Yvonne remained calm, though frost mist clung tighter around her body.
Meanwhile Ignis still stood firmly without even any sign of fatigue.
Yvonne slowly exhaled, frost spilling from her breath like moonlight. "You’re indeed extremely strong," she murmured.
Then, she brushed frost from her sleeve and then spoke calmly. "Let’s wrap it up."
