Xie Jianyu’s face turned grim when he heard the word "bride". He glared at the high-ranking demon who dared to address him that way.
A handsome face with pronounced cheekbones and a pair of eyes as dark as the night. His jet-black hair was arranged in braids, surrounding the silver crown that perched above his head.
It’s him.
The demon whose eyes met his during his escape from the Demonic Realm.
"I never agreed to be your bride," Xie Jianyu snapped at the First Demon King.
The demon opposite him chuckled. The chuckle turned into a burst of mocking laughter.
Way before they met, the First Demon King had already gained some insight about Xie Jianyu.
"The current Crown Prince of the Heavenly Realm is famous throughout the three realms. He is both aloof and arrogant. I don’t usually believe what people say, but look at you. Aren’t you aware of your current status here?"
"If you want me to behave like a prisoner, maybe you should stick me in prison," Xie Jianyu snapped. "Don’t refer to me as your bride so carelessly, it makes me sick."
"Awww."
The First Demon King rose from the Dark Moon Throne. The clacking sounds that his chain boots made as he approached Xie Jianyu echoed in the vast hall.
Wary of the strong opponent in front of him, Xie Jianyu instinctively reached for the sword at his waist. The problem was that his sword was not there. Winter Frost had already been taken away from him when he was forcefully kidnapped into the Demonic Realm.
The First Demon King flashed him an evil grin.
"Your darling weapon is being kept safe in the dungeon. So sorry that you won’t see it anytime soon."
The demon extended his hand after Xie Jianyu.
"Hands off!"
Fierce as usual, Xie Jianyu’s hand whipped through the air. It aimed for the First Demon King’s cheek, but his slap never landed.
The First Demon King flashed the omega a twisted smile before he caught Xie Jianyu’s hand easily.
Xie Jianyu followed up with a well-aimed kick. It would have had a lot of impact if he were wearing his heavy boots. A kick using a dainty silk shoe of an omega felt like a baby’s punch against the demon king’s armored chest.

Xie Jianyu let out a gasp when his opponent twisted both of his arms to his back and held him tight against his own body. The warm breath of the demon tickled Xie Jianyu’s earlobe when he spoke, but what he said gave Xie Jianyu severe goosebumps.
"What a feisty baby dragon. I like you. I wonder how you taste."
"You!!!"
Xie Jianyu was so angry that he wanted to send the shameless demon to the afterlife. Unfortunately, without his sword, he was unable to defend himself, let alone pose much threat to his captor.

Xie Jianyu clenched his jaw in desperation.
Even if he had Winter Frost around, he could not do much. The air within the four walls of the First Demon King’s palace was polluted by a heavy demonic aura. It blocked his meridians and impeded his spiritual power circulation.
"Are you going to be obedient now?"

Xie Jianyu’s silence prompted the First Demon King to twist the former’s arms harder.
"Ngh!"
The demon chuckled.
"Don’t worry, my bride. I don’t have a liking for a man’s body. I am just going to bother you until you fall pregnant with my child."
And then, he forced a kiss on Xie Jianyu’s lips.

Xie Jianyu bit hard into the First Demon King’s lips. The latter unwittingly let him go.
"I will never give birth to your child!" Xie Jianyu spat. "Why don’t you bed one of your female demons here? They must be dying to serve you!"
Another chuckle.
"How can I spill my seed so carelessly?"
In the next second, the First Demon King’s figure turned into a blur.
Before Xie Jianyu anticipated his opponent’s attack, the latter already tapped select acupuncture points in his body and immobilized him.
"My child must be born from a Golden Lotus, no less than that."
A Golden Lotus, he said.
Xie Jianyu’s heart turned cold.
"Golden Lotus" was an unofficial term used to describe an omega who pursued the path of cultivation. Considering their usually weak constitution and their lack of talent, they usually refrained from cultivation.

"Again, my bride, you don’t have a choice here. We will be married in six days, when the red moon is at its highest point. It is the best time to conceive the next ruler of the Demonic Realm. And then..."
The First Demon King rubbed Xie Jianyu’s stomach in a teasing manner. "I am going to plant my seed inside your body. Don’t worry, a healthy son is all I am asking for."
In the Demonic Realm, betas did not exist. All the men are alphas and all the women are omegas.
So what did it mean? Was he going to make Xie Jianyu birth a baby again and again until he produced said son?
Xie Jianyu’s eyes shook from terror. Was he going to die in such a miserable way?
