“Seventh uncle,” Jing Ni greeted before looking back at her computer.
Jing Tian grabbed me and sized me up. I opened my arms for him to see. “I’m fine. I’m perfectly fine.”
He caught a glimpse of my fingers and asked in a low voice, “What’s going on?”
I curled my fingers subconsciously. I couldn’t hide anything from him, so I had to tell him the general story.
Jing Tian immediately took Jing Ni’s computer to check our location. He pointed at a spot. “Let’s go there. It’s safer.”
We would do as he said.
He took out his gun and pulled out the bullets. He frowned. There were only three bullets in his palm.
Who would bring guns to a banquet? This was an unexpected event.
