She hadn’t even changed clothes, just lying on top of it; her sleeping face resembled the begonia flowers that bloomed at night.
"Meijie, Meijie," Dubian Che called out softly twice.
Jiutiao Meijie slowly opened her eyes, her eyelids half-drooping, with a lazy tone, "Sit up properly."
"Ah?" Dubian Che stood there stunned, wondering if she was still half asleep.
Jiutiao Meijie looked at Dubian Che with an expressionless gaze.
Dubian Che had no choice but to surrender and obediently sat properly.
"Where did you go yesterday?" Jiutiao Meijie laid on the bed like a sleeping beauty, looking like she was about to fall asleep again.
"To school, getting ready for the national competition and the Cultural Festival. Meijie, I’m going to amaze you at the national competition."
Dubian Che spoke with relish, but Jiutiao Meijie just looked down at him with a sneer.
Dubian Che couldn’t carry on, "What did I do wrong? Did I do something in my dreams to upset you?"
"You seem to get along pretty well with Kiyono Lin," Jiutiao Meijie mentioned casually.
"That’s not true! Slander!"
Jiutiao Meijie chuckled.
Suddenly, as if remembering something, Dubian Che said, "Ah, you’re not talking about buying photography equipment, are you? That’s for the Cultural Festival! You know, Meijie, every club has to hold an event, and we’re planning to make a film."
"I swear to Chiyoda district, if I’m lying, let there be a storm immediately."
"Enough with the smooth talk!" Jiutiao Meijie scolded.
"Really! I came here for the film, to convince you to be my leading lady."
Jiutiao Meijie’s slender, fair right hand tapped on the white quilt, "The leading lady?"
"Kiyono Lin is planning to have another girl play the leading lady, but how could I agree to that? Whether it’s a film or not, you’re the only leading lady for me, Meijie."
Jiutiao Meijie opened her eyes to look at Dubian Che, "At least you have a bit of conscience."
Under the threat of death for being unscrupulous, wouldn’t everyone have a conscience?
Dubian Che saw Jiutiao Meijie yawn as if she was still half asleep and said, "Not awake yet? Then you rest first, I’ll come back in the afternoon to discuss the details with you."

Jiutiao Meijie, without even opening her eyes, smacked his hand away.
After a while, Dubian Che reached out again, and this time Jiutiao Meijie didn’t slap him; she let him hug her.
"You can only sleep, okay?"
"That’s exactly what I was thinking!"
