Dubian Che subconsciously stretched out his hand to close the room door.
Footsteps gradually approached, as if stepping on Dubian Che’s heartbeat, then stopped in front of the door.
"Mr. Dubian." The voice was cold and pleasing, it was Ryou-san.
Dubian Che waited for a while before saying, "What is it?"
Mayi Asuka’s hands roamed Dubian Che’s back, her small face nuzzled into his chest, as if confirming whether he really existed.
"We’re going to look for Mayi-senpai, are you coming?" Ichiki Aoi asked.
"No, I’m learning English."
"English? Mr. Dubian is so diligent!"
"No, it’s French," Dubian Che quickly corrected.
"Is it?" Kiyono Lin asked.
"Yes, I’m planning to look at the dictionary and word list later, there’s an original language version of ’The Intouchables’ on TV," he added.
Mayi Asuka seemed to finally confirm that Dubian Che really held her in his arms, as she once again raised her delicate face, staring at him without moving.
"Let him be, let’s go," Kiyono Lin’s voice came from outside the door.
"Okay," Ichiki Aoi responded, "I wonder if Mayi-senpai will agree to join us."
"It went well during the day, there shouldn’t be any trouble tonight."
"I hope so, but I’m always worried..."
The rest faded away, the voices receding as they walked away.
Dubian Che let out a sigh and suddenly remembered Mayi Asuka was still in his arms—wasn’t he blowing air directly into someone’s face?
"Senpai, I’m sorry..."
"Huuh—" Mayi Asuka’s gentle breath, slow and even, brushed against Dubian Che’s face.

Mayi Asuka wore a yukata, and when lifted, her smooth, rounded legs were revealed, tucked under the hem of the yukata, even more enticing.
During this time, Mayi Asuka’s gaze never left Dubian Che, occasionally blowing teasingly onto his face, a slight smile at the corner of her mouth.
Dubian Che sat down in a chair in the Japanese-style room, Mayi Asuka still lying in his embrace.
"Senpai, is there something you want to say?"
"Che, didn’t you have something to say to me? I’ve come on my own," murmured Mayi Asuka, softly biting Dubian Che’s ear.
Feeling his ear gradually moisten and his vigorous body’s blood surge, Dubian Che’s mind became even clearer.

Regardless of how Mayi Asuka saw him.
Dubian Che pushed her away, looking into those clear eyes.
"Mayi-senpai, indeed, I have something to say to you."
"Okay," Mayi Asuka watched him, her face full of anticipation, her hand reaching lower.
Dubian Che caught her hand and held it tightly, "Meiji is my girlfriend, her family is very powerful, and they’ve even killed people."
"Okay," Mayi Asuka stared blankly at the hand holding her wrist, scrutinizing each finger.
"If she finds out about you and me, she won’t let you off," Dubian Che said sternly.
"Not afraid of death?"
"Not afraid," Mayi Asuka replied softly, her head shaking ever so slightly.
Dubian Che stared at her for a while and then suddenly said, "But I’m afraid. If she finds out, even if she doesn’t kill me, I’ll have no freedom afterward."
"Don’t you like me? Don’t you worry about me?"
Mayi Asuka gave a lovesick smile, a hint of white teeth peeking through her lips, "Because I will die with Che."
Her voice had been the same throughout, always filled with a teasing languor.
She showed no confusion at receiving an explanation rather than a confession; it seemed no matter what Dubian Che said, it made no difference to her.
"But I don’t want to die," replied Dubian Che icily.
"Don’t be scared, don’t worry," Mayi Asuka soothed with an ethereal, elusive voice, "I will always be with Che."
"You with me? What’s the use?" Dubian Che released Mayi Asuka’s hand, grasping her gracefully lined neck.
Gradually applying pressure.
"I want to stay with Meiji. She has money, power, and she’s prettier than you. There are plenty of girls like you!"
"Cough, cough," Mayi Asuka began to cough uncontrollably.
"You are too annoying, too troublesome; once Meiji finds out, I will lose a bright future, even be killed!"
Dubian Che flipped over, pinning Mayi Asuka beneath him, hands firmly around her neck.
"You like me, ready to die for me, right? I’ll grant you your wish!"
Mayi Asuka’s lips involuntarily parted, her pink tongue visible. She finally raised her hand.
Dubian Che’s face twisted with ferocity, he whispered harshly, "There’s a drug called amber alkaline, injected, a person suffocates to death, and with the right bribe to the hospital, no one will know I killed you!"
Mayi Asuka’s cold hands struggled to reach Dubian Che’s face, then gently caressed.
Her eyes, as clear as a summer spring, grew blurry. Her consciousness slipped away, but one thing remained as always: she kept her gaze on Dubian Che.
