Victor opened his mouth, lacking words for a comeback. Constantine also concurred, "I fear the cats here aren't quite what you're imagining. If the legend of the 'Dream of Thousands Cats' is true, then, in the cat's Dreamworld, cats have taken over Earth, just like humans, and developed for so many years. They probably possess a level of technology or magic not inferior to the human race."

Batman looked out at the familiar city, squinting and made the first suggestion, "We become cats. Blend in."
"But we're human. How can we become cats?" Clark asked.
"Don't forget, we're in the Dreamworld. A fixed rule here is 'believing is seeing'. If you believe you're a cat, you can become one. Just ..."
Just as Constantine finished speaking, there was a 'pop', and he turned into a cream-colored cat. His fur was similar to his hair color, and his eyes perfectly reflected his personality.
The second one to morph was Batman, his determination nothing to scoff at. The newly formed black cat with blue eyes had a fit body; even its long tail seemed designed for combat.
Victor pondered; it wasn't that he couldn't do it, he was just hesitating about what type of cat he should become. After thinking for a bit, he transformed into a Russian blue cat, slightly bluer than normal. He commented, "I like blue. It's not bad, right?"
At last, only Clark remained, puzzled. He asked, "What does it mean 'if you believe you're a cat, you can become one'? But I'm not a cat!"
An expression of resignation appeared on Batman's feline face. Constantine walked up, pat Clark's trouser leg with his paw. As Clark bent down to pick him up, rocking his front paws, he laughed and said, "It's pretty convincing, actually. My cat at home is orange."
Constantine sighed. In Clark's hand, he swished his paw, and a flash of magic later, Clark was transformed into a striped orange cat. When both cats landed, Constantine licked his claw and said, "If imagination isn't enough, let magic suffice."
Clark stared at his paw in astonishment, and suddenly, he rose from the ground, the other three cats watching him.
Batman turned to look at Constantine, who hesitated for a second before stating, "It seems his superpower transcends the boundary between reality and Dreamworld. No matter where he is, his power won't be weakened. Even when he's a cat..."
"That makes us even safer," Victor stated, realizing he still had his superpower. Clark breathed a sigh of relief, landed, and walked up to the other cats, stretched out his paw and pointed at the city, announcing:
"Let's go. The Cat Squad is off to save the world."
