DC: Rise of the Kryptonian Tyrant Chapter 291

At the moment Bardi and Faora began their "fight," the extraterrestrial defense force in space—composed of the Kryptonian Legion and super genetically modified humans wearing a variety of single-soldier Iron Man-style armors—launched into battle under the command of General Ott.

On the other side of the Kryptonian spacecraft, no high-powered beam weapons were unleashed due to the proximity to Earth. Numerous alien beings, piloting individual spacecraft or even appearing bare-bodied in space, joined the battle alongside the army led by General Ott.

In an instant, explosions of flame and starlight ignited across the starry sky, with human-made machines forming a battle line.

Humans also launched attacks, tearing apart and destroying Kryptonian individual spacecrafts, engaging in brutal combat with various alien creatures onboard.

Small laser beams constantly flickered, delivering deadly flashes in the void of space.

For humanity, this was their Earth. Even under Bardi's rule, it remained a peaceful planet inhabited by humans. This was their home, and they could not allow it to be invaded.

Those granted superpower genes by Bardi were all carefully selected humans—individuals who willingly chose to protect the Earth and shed blood for it. That was their mission.

As for the invaders, most were Kryptonian criminals. For them, only by invading this planet could they shed their criminal status and escape perpetual surveillance and control.

Under Hael's orders, the self-destruct devices implanted in their brains could kill them at any moment. Only by becoming heroes in planetary development could they regain their identities and escape death.

Hael did not prevent the war. Instead, he deployed all of the Kryptonian criminals. Explosions continued to erupt in the starry sky, escalating into a fierce battle.

To Hael, these criminals were the most vicious, and this war was the most suitable place for them to meet their end.

Moreover, Bardi could see clearly that everything—be it the Kryptonian spacecraft or the many criminals under control—all held enough power to destroy Earth. Whether through coercion or cooperation, they were tools Bardi could use to realize his vision of a glorious Krypton.

Or perhaps it was Hael's talent and wisdom that Bardi needed.

In his mind was a vast repository of Kryptonian scientific data, along with the finest research knowledge and technologies. He was a versatile and perfect talent, fully capable of elevating Bardi's planet to a status on par with Krypton. He could lead the development of space colonies and make Bardi an emperor under the stars.

Under the current circumstances, the only chance was to cooperate with Bardi and rebuild a brilliant Krypton.

This didn't contradict Zod's orders. On the contrary, it fulfilled them exceptionally well.

Because a Kryptonian warrior, such a powerful being, was not someone Bardi would refuse to create. The rise of Krypton's glory was inevitable.

Of course, if Bardi died at Zod's hands, Hael would take over Earth himself and rebuild the glory of Krypton.

There were no surprises.

In any case, within Hael's brilliant calculations, Zod's order would be fulfilled, and his own ambitions were already underway.

Inside the main war room of the Kryptonian spacecraft, Hael stood behind the glass shield, gazing out into the dark starry sky. Sparks from ongoing explosions flickered continuously. His line of sight cut through the brutal battlefield of the stars and rested upon the moon.

Zod's figure stood upon the icy surface of the moon, roaring in agony. His eyes burned with tyrannical rage, like a monstrous beast crawling out of the abyss. His massive, muscle-bound body exuded a twisted aura.

Hael's face was grim. He needed to monitor Zod, awaiting the final outcome between Bardi and Zod. All other battles were like ants fighting—they held no meaning.

The war across space intensified, as alien criminals, the Kryptonian Legion, and Earth's forces engaged in a savage clash.

No matter how tight Earth's defenses were, it couldn't hold off the relentless assault of so many strange alien species.

Some transformed into huge, red-skinned, savage-looking beings that broke through the Earth's atmosphere and landed, causing destruction across the surface.

There were also parasitic lifeforms that activated by feeding on human spinal fluid. Covered in dense exoskeletons, these parasites were extremely tough. After infecting humans, they turned into parasitic monsters, unleashing chaos across the land.

Insect-like creatures with compound eyes from the planet Dorian also descended, spreading fear and panic.

Races of silicon-based life forms, shaped like massive trees, spread across cities, casting vast shadows.

And so, countless alien beings arrived on Earth, wreaking havoc across the surface.

Fighter jets from the remnants of the old nations soared through the skies, firing artillery rounds and shooting down countless alien vessels that had slipped past space defenses.

For a time, the once blue sky of Earth was filled with the smoke of war.

Strange and enormous alien creatures, insectoid aliens, parasitic humans, silicon-based life forms—one after another—ignited conflict on Earth.

Diana led the Amazon warriors in a ruthless hunt. Atlantis stood guard over the oceans. Dark clouds gathered overhead, lightning controlled by ravens struck down alien beings. Human soldiers on the ground opened fire fiercely, sending sparks flying.

In an instant, war erupted, and the situation turned dire.

But Bardi, Hael, and Zod all knew that this was merely child's play.

The true battle lay in the showdown between Bardi and Zod. With their current strength, even planetary-level weapons could not destroy them. This kind of earthbound conflict meant little to them.

At that time, Bardi was merely consolidating his rule, reinforcing humanity's loyalty to him. After this battle, mankind would safely accept his leadership.

Zod, having acquired Doomsday's power, knew the real war was against Bardi. He fully delegated command to Hael and went directly to the moon.

Their combat prowess had already surpassed the limits of mere technology.

Bardi turned away from this kind of battle. After instructing Hera to extract Faora and send her to a safe place for treatment, he looked into the distance. His telescopic vision narrowed in an instant, locking onto Zod's tyrannical and restless figure on the moon.

Bardi's expression was cold as he levitated. In a flash, he broke through the sound barrier, igniting a trail of raging flames. Amid the smoky gunpowder-filled air, he shot forward like a meteor.

He landed on the moon.

The moon trembled slightly, its surface rolling with sand and dust.

"Zod, long time no see!"
