He was surprised by the resources that were stuffed inside the space pouch. He has never dreamed of so rich rewards.
He had asked Zara and even Reyna, as they were the only seniors he was in contact with. They roughly gave the value of rewards that one could get from this tournament by being at the top.
They only guessed that because the rewards would change depending on the circumstances around them, and also, they were not the first ranker the previous year. So, they only gave a possible estimation, but the rewards were much higher than estimated, very high.
"Looking at this, either they were wrong or something was wrong. The chances of them getting it wrong are very low. They should have asked their seniors about this, and whatever information that they passed to me, should be based on not just what they experienced but also what they learned".
"So, the most likely inclination would be that there is something wrong going on in the world or something will happen in the near future".
"What could that be?"
The realisation came a second later, "Yeah, there was the planet upgradation, which probably is happening at the moment or would in the near future. This could lead to a lot of benefits for the humans but also a lot of troubles along the way".
"No wonder they increased the rewards . To face the upcoming dangers, they need a lot of firepower, and that means high-ranked awakeners. Only by investing a lot in them now would it be possible in a short time", Aaron understood why the alliance has increased the resources like that.
This is good in one way but bad in another way. Since he already knew that this was going to happen, he was prepared beforehand for the sake of his parents. So, though there might be danger, the intensity would be a little less than what others face.
Aaron started to check the resources one by one, and every time he did that, he would be astonished by the quantity and quality of the resources provided. It was not just that. There are also many rare resources available in the pouch given to him.
When he saw a few resources that could be used immediately, he used them on the spot. There was no need to save some of these resources for a later date. Those resources, he used as soon as possible.

With two levels increased, he gained 4,000 FSPs and 1,600 SPs, which refilled most of these free attributes on the status panel.
He could have used the Death Crystal, which gives EXP later on, but he wanted to reach Rank-3 as soon as possible. There is no particular reason behind that, but after his performance today, he would be sure to have climbed the hit list of the cults.
It means that if the agents of the cult get a chance, they will be sure to try to strike him down. The higher one is on the list, the more bounty they can claim for themselves once the person is taken care of.
So, he needs to reach higher ranks, which would make it difficult for them to cause any trouble for him. The sooner he reaches Rank-6, the sooner he can concentrate fully on improving his parents’ ranks, too.
Even if the combat power might be low because of their professions, as long as they can reach higher ranks, they would be much safer.
There are a few skill scrolls in the rewards, but he ignored them for now. Instead of using them now, he decided to use them after reaching Rank-3. The SPs he gained now are required to make a skill reach Gold Realm as soon as possible, and that means the need for SPs is very high.
These are not active skills but passive skills and resistances that can make him survive a lot longer, but he kept them because he already has many skills. Even with so many SPs, with the new knowledge that he came into contact with, those SPs may not be enough if he learns too many skills.
Also, he intends to leave some of these passive skills to his parents. These can be used by anyone, no matter their profession. So, depending on how his future unfolds, he could use them, but until then, he intended to keep them in storage.
In addition to Death Crystals and some general skill scrolls, there is one skill scroll that he wanted most, a scroll that gives a Death Skill.
It is a random Death Skill Scroll, which he intended to use after Rank-3.
When he reaches Rank-3, a Death Skill would be given by default. Aaron intended to use the scroll after he got that skill, depending on what the skill he got would be useful for.
The other resources included a bank card with Alliance Credits credited to it, some resources that can improve attributes directly and even a few death-related treasures.
"I should go to sleep or else Lyanna might leave me here", Aaron thought
He understood what kind of person Lyanna is. She expects strict discipline from her students. Even though she acted friendly with him, if he didn’t wake up early, she would definitely leave him here.
Fearing that, Aaron stored away the rewards and soon fell on his bed to rest for the night.
