Zakar stared at the paper in his hands as it trembled lightly. His eyes shifted back to the door. He hadn't seen anyone at the door. There was no one in the room except him. His mind recalled again and again. He couldn't place the puzzle together. How had he gotten this paper in his hands? How didn't he feel it?
He opened the paper slowly and what he saw next shocked more than he had expected. On the paper was a written message carved neatly with ink.
'Meet us at the third block of the refectory tomorrow.'
He scuffed lightly and folded the paper back. He thought for some seconds. His mind battled with the possibility of who it was.
It could not be either of his team mates. It could not also be General Lemon because if it was him, he would have simply pulled him out and brutalised him if he wasted a second at the door. He would not play hide seek just to deliver a message and by the way he would not write his message on a paper.
"Could it be Kyara? But why? Fuck!" he cursed and collapsed on his bed.
Then the door opened and Sera walked in with face expressionless. She crossed him and sat on her bed on the other side of the room.
He stared at her and noticed that her scar had healed up but not perfection. He was wondering why before her voice cut through his thin like a blade.
"What are you staring at?"
He stared at her baffled. He blinked twice not because he wanted to but due to his nervousness at the moment. He then managed a smile and scratched the back of his head roughly.
"Sorry. I was just observing."
Sera shot him a dark glance before looking away in irritation. There was silence for

"Yah. You mean the Ash Imps right?"
"Are you dumb?! Yeah I mean that."
"Yes. I noticed that they regenerate and multiply at the same time. But they had spots that didn't regenerate so I based my attack on that hypothesis. Also—"
"Save it." she shot at him, standing up and walking towards the table.
"You came from Earth?" she asked without looking at him. He stared at her shocked at the question.
"Yeah. What about it?"
"You were hurt while dying?" Zakar stared at her in more shock. Where the hell was she driving to?
"Yes. Who the hell would not feel the pain of death?" he muttered and his stomach churned up like it was being stimulated.
"I don't mean pain from dying. I mean pain from having to dying."
"I think now you're crazy."
"Emotional pain you idiot!"
"Ok yeah." he snapped out.
"You felt it? Or did you just die like a piece of shit or what?" she muttered scratching her nails against the table.
"I felt it. Damn. Why remind me of it?!" he muttered as the memories of his girlfriend replayed in his head and he imagined her voice repeating what she had muttered before his death.
"Dumbass. Why did he have to fight? Now his stupidity has caused his death. Serves him right. Fool." those words sunk in his head like a heavy lead metal in water.
"Good to know." she said simply like his emotions didn't matter much.
"Damn. What is your aim in all these?" he asked as he clutched his chest. He was beginning to feel a great heart burn in him. He could not tell if it was delusional or real.
"Nothing just wanted to know what it felt like to have emotions." she snapped and lay on her bed.
He stared in shock as he watched her lay perfectly fine on the bed. His eyes burned with anger as he stared at her.
'Why am I suddenly angry at her? Why do I feel like a have a demon in me? Why do feel like I can crush the world to its end? What in heaven's name is this?'
He pulled back to his bed and lay on it. He decided to checkmate that feeling by sleeping. Maybe that could help him to stop feeling that way.
'Don't know why the hell she asked that question but I can tell she's up to something.' he thought as he lay on his bed.

"Wait what?!!" he exclaimed as he got the notification. He tilted his head towards Sera and noticed that she was staring at him. He had exclaimed to loud. He had to be quieter.

'Does the Murderous Intent apply for me? Why? Fuck! What the hell is this?'

[Second Option: You could as well complete daily quests set by the system for this purpose. Bear in mind it would be deadly and dangerous.]
'Fuck. Both options are crazy but I think I would prefer the latter.' he thought to himself.
'So when do I get my quest before I turn into a fucking deadly creature.'

'Damn. I have to get ready. I hope I don't vanish up during the Quest. That would he too suspicious. I would have to leave to a secluded area.'
"Hmmm..." he sighed in exhaustion and anxiety. He wondered what quest the system would throw up at him. It said it was deadly but he couldn't help but wonder.
