In the slaughterhouse, chaos reigned.
Until now, the pig-headed men the bartender had seen were all dressed in long black rubber boots and dirty aprons, wielding cleavers.
But the one that appeared now was different; it wore a gray work uniform, which, due to its fat body, stretched tight across its frame, revealing disgusting lumps of flesh in many places.
In its right hand, it held a roasted thigh of an amateur, bringing it to its mouth, its dark teeth biting down and tearing off a large chunk with a shake of its head.
As it chewed, disgusting sounds were emitted, along with foul-smelling saliva spraying everywhere.
The bartender shouted and turned to run.
The pig-headed creature didn’t chase but walked to the corpse, picking up the large cleaver from its back, a work tag hanging on its left chest, indicating its position.
Slaughterhouse Supervisor.
"Let’s see, how many little mice are making a mess in my slaughterhouse?"
This supervisor stood over three meters tall and weighed upwards of a ton, walking like a heavy tank, exuding an oppressive presence.
Xia Hongyao didn’t hesitate for a moment and immediately charged forward.
The supervisor raised his cleaver, bringing it down with a slash!
The cleaver, glowing with a dark red light, moved at a speed beyond human sight, striking at Xia Hongyao.
The women in leather pants turned pale, the creature seemed strong and should have been clumsy, but the speed of its slash was terrifyingly fast.
Although Xia Hongyao had an intelligence of D, she had Force Speed Double A and was in excellent shape. In the instant the cleaver descended, she had already accelerated.
Xia Hongyao appeared behind the supervisor,
dagger slashing continuously.
The dagger unleashed a series of afterimages, cutting into the supervisor’s neck and shaving off palm-sized chunks of flesh.
The supervisor howled in pain, turning to swipe his cleaver in retaliation.
Xia Hongyao ducked and weaved, not only nimbly avoiding the attack, but also shooting forward like a lance fired from a crossbow, her feet kicking the supervisor’s face.
The supervisor was forced back five steps by the kicks.
Xia Hongyao was about to continue her frenzied assault, but upon seeing the Muscle Buddha appear, she immediately stood still and beckoned the pig-headed supervisor with a curl of her finger.
Xia Hongyao taunted, drawing the supervisor’s attention.
The supervisor was furious, but just as he was about to charge, a whoosh sounded from behind him, and before he could turn around, the Muscle Buddha’s iron fist had already slammed into his forehead.
The supervisor was sent spinning like a top by the heavy blow, headfirst, crashing heavily onto the floor.
The entire slaughterhouse seemed to tremble.
The bartender’s eyes widened with envy and a desire to cry.
In his view, the pig-headed man was terrifying, on par with the Big Devil, but when faced with the Muscle Buddha, it was like a kindergarten child being beaten by a giant.
This even gave the bartender the illusion that he could do it too!
The Muscle Buddha didn’t expect its opponent to be so fragile; unable to "ooh la" punch, it simply lifted its foot and stomped down hard on the supervisor’s head.
The supervisor swung his cleaver at the Muscle Buddha’s ankle.
The Muscle Buddha, going with the flow, lay sideways, his right elbow using the weight of his entire body to smash into the supervisor’s face.
The supervisor’s nose crunched into his skull, his teeth shattered, and blood began pouring out with them. He reached out one hand to strike at the Muscle Buddha’s head.
The Muscle Buddha reached out both hands, grasping the supervisor’s arm and twisting it behind his back with force.
"Oh my, he knows wrestling moves?"
The woman in leather pants drooled with envy, thinking that if she had such a commander, wouldn’t she be invincible?
Lin Baici rushed over, ready to chop off the supervisor’s head, but the Muscle Buddha suddenly lunged with a punch toward his chest.
If the punch had connected, Lin Baici would have been turned into mush.
Fortunately, Lin Baici was always wary of the Muscle Buddha and managed to dodge in time.
"What’s the situation?"
The landlady was startled, but seeing that Lin Baici was alright, she took a breath of relief, then realized that this was likely a surge of minor rule corruption from the Taboo things acting unpredictably.
The bartender and the woman in leather pants suddenly lost their desire for this Taboo thing; they couldn’t guarantee they’d be able to dodge like Lin Baici if the Muscle Buddha attacked.
The Muscle Buddha used a ground technique to strangle the supervisor tightly and pin him to the floor.
Xia Hongyao struck once more.
After the dagger with a trace of light passed, it decapitated the supervisor.
Blood spurted like a fountain.
The supervisor’s belly burst open with a bang, spewing scarlet blood, a mash of flesh and innards exploding outward in a radial spray, with intestines as thick as arms flying into the sky like kite strings.
The stench, immediately spreading, was nauseating!
But no one cared about that; all eyes were on the two fist-sized orbs of light amidst the flying blood and flesh, shimmering with a rainbow glow, erupting from the belly of the pig-headed man, floating down to the ground.
The old man’s eyes lit up, instinctively accelerating and rushing forward.
