Demi-human Girls Completion Manual Chapter 168

"As the saying goes, there are really not many ways for humans to quickly become familiar with each other, and the most effective one is definitely to share a meal together."

In the afternoon, Principal Ken had already arranged accommodations for all the visiting personnel from Schwali, the accommodations were adequate, but since Schwali had brought many staff members over, these staff members naturally couldn’t stay together with the more important individuals from Schwali, so the university made available some of the faculty and staff rooms for them to reside in.

Then there was the classic segment of Saint Nali University’s introduction of its various facilities, all the teaching buildings, students, and maxims personally inscribed by the King, all introduced by the board members.

Professor Fisher didn’t follow them; he took care of himself, returned to his office, and rested a while, also taking some food to Witch Carlo. He hadn’t slept all night yesterday, so he took this opportunity to sleep a bit in his office since there was an official dinner arranged by the school in the evening.

He didn’t lock the door while resting, fearing that someone from Schwali would call him to enjoy dinner after the visit was over. Just as he was getting into a deeper sleep, the door gently opened, revealing Miss Moli with her hair turned back to black.

She had just met with the Crabmen hiding near the coast and received many valuable items, but she was unsure about how to convert them into human currency.

Originally, Moli wanted to ask Isabella and the others, but they were roommates and knew her too well. She had told them she came from a fisherman’s family in a coastal city; suddenly having Gold to disclose was inexplicable.

On the other hand, Professor Fisher, who knew little about her, was someone she could ask. Plus, she had corrected yesterday’s magic homework mistakes and wanted Mr. Fischer to take a look.

To her surprise, Mr. Fischer was asleep.

Moli stayed at the door, secretly glancing at the sleeping Mr. Fischer, evaluating his sleeping face before she thought to close the door, but the next second, she saw Fisher open his eyes in bewilderment,

"Ah... that is, Mr. Fisher."

Fisher had taken off his suit jacket and was using it as a blanket. A button or two on his shirt had been undone to sleep more comfortably. As he got up, Moli blushed and stood there, unsure whether to leave or enter.

Fisher gave her a glance, fastened the buttons of his clothes, and sat up,

"Do you need something from me?"

"Ah, yes, I corrected yesterday’s mistakes and would like Mr. Fisher to look over them... Also, I have a few other questions to ask you."

"That so... Come in, don’t just stand at the door."

Fisher, a bit fatigued, rubbed his shoulders, and Moli nodded, squeezed through the doorway, and then obediently closed the door behind her.

At that moment, Fisher’s nose picked up a fresh scent of moisture from the girl, but upon closer inspection, her hair was also somewhat damp.

"I... I just went swimming, so some parts of me are still not dry!"

Actually, Fisher had only glanced at her, but for some reason, she suddenly blushed and explained.

Fisher spoke to ease her tension; he didn’t understand why she always seemed so nervous around him, even though he hadn’t been teaching for long, and former students like Milica were not as restrained.

Moli, on the other hand, always seemed a bit unnatural. Perhaps it was because he had chased her one night? Creating a psychological shadow for her?

After understanding her purpose, Fisher knowingly accepted the Magic Paper she handed over, to see that beneath the markings he had made, lines upon lines of neat corrections had been written. Fisher had only provided her with a bit of guidance, and she diligently wrote out all her thoughts.

At least, she was very dedicated when it came to the pursuit of learning. Unlike Rafael, who relied solely on talent, Miss Moli’s diligence was clearly superior, something worthy of praise and affirmation.

"You’ve explained these points very clearly, and even referenced Mr. Helsen’s explanations, which is excellent. Your understanding of the essence and structure of magic can now compete with some first and second-level mages."

Fisher did not skimp on his praise for her, as students receiving compliments from teachers always feel happy. Moli pursed her lips, seemingly maintaining a Ladylike reserve, but her smile could not help but curve upward slightly.

"By the way..." As they spoke, Fisher suddenly looked up at her, "We’re soon going to host an academic conference with Schwali, and I can take an assistant. I’ve thought it over, and you’re the only suitable candidate. Would you like to join me to observe this academic debate?"

Moli’s eyes briefly lit up and said,

"I... can I go? I mean, I’m just a first-year student, and I don’t understand magic very well. I might not be of much help with things like debates... and such..."

"You don’t need to help with anything; it’s just like an extra lesson. Or do you want to take a week off like the other students?"

Next week, the school will suspend classes for a week due to the academic conference, so many students had gone home for the holiday.
